We traveled through Peru to Paracas National Reserve to visit the Ballestas Islands and to the largest desert oasis in South America, Huacachina. We try the unbelievable Huacachina dune buggy, sandboard, and see an incredible sunset over the sand dunes. We also do Pisco tasting and candy workshop! Insane 48 hours...

The Reason why we will se so much animals in the coastal Area of Peru is the Humboldt Current ( Corriente Peruana ). This is a very cold flow of water 2 times the Area of Peru . So big to modify the coastal climate . This current brings huge amount of nutrients called Plankton . This feed small fishes and then to the birds + sea lyons + penguins + fresh ceviches all year long for us LOL . . . .So good and so unkown place in Planet Earth

How much was the boat tour? 😍😍
Hi Terry 👋This is a great question. We purchased this tour as a package with a company called Peru Hop. It included transportation from Lima to Paracas, Huacachina, and then back to Lima. It also included the boat tour, the dune buggy and sand boarding tour, and the Pisco tasting. It did not include food or accommodations. All in, it cost about $150 per person. With that said, I don't know how much the boat tour costs alone. We hope this helps 🙌

Hi Paul 👋Double masks were a requirement the entire time we were in Peru. In fact, we couldn't board the flight from Ecuador to Peru 🇪🇨✈️🇵🇪until they verified we had two masks on. So long story, long, we just got used to it 😷
