- Breakfast mascots get the short end of the stick when looking at product mascots across all industries. While some breakfast mascots are potrayed as larger than life (I’m looking at you, Tony the Tiger), many are destined to lose in ads for their own foods. Whether they can never get that cereal, always have their food taken from them, or just experience constant misfortune, I’m taking a look at the breakfast mascots that can never catch a break

I don't know about you, but the Poptarts commercial with the baby Poptart being eaten literally gave me a nightmare once
I can't blame you. It's surprisingly dark for a brand that still has a demographic of kids. I did have fun imitating her creepy tone when quoting the ad during that segment, though.

Thanks man! I've always been on the side of the Rabbit as well. The Pop Tart commercials are so bizarre. Watching many of them in a row made me notice how dark they got over time and how they changed the reoccurring characters trying to eat the pop tarts from kids to an adult woman. I guess they're trying to appeal to our demographic now.

The pop-tart videos were always super disturbing to me, to the point that I actually stopped eating pop-tarts. M&Ms are almost as bad, but at least they get away sometimes.

I always felt he was an unfortunate mascot. Just doing his job delivering waffles & suddenly shrunk for reasons unknown. But this diligent delivery driver just rolls with it because, despite being a homunculus with a daunting commute, he just wants to make sure people can have waffles for breakfast... what a trooper!
