IF buying Argan Oil in Morocco, BRING YOUR OWN plastic bottles / ziploc bags for carrying it back with you. The stores charge a TON for these smaller bottles. I remember spending about $20 USD for a pack of travel size bottles.
I don’t know about laundromats in UK, but the ones in Portugal and the Canaries (this, also probably Spain by association), have all the ingredients in the machines (detergent, disinfectant and fabric softener). But if it is a hotel washer - or if you have sensitive skin- just forget that.
I had my laundry done for me in Portugal. Impeccable service! There are laundromats that will also do your laundry for you: clean, press and fold, for a nominal fee.

As a seasoned traveler, do you tend to pack heavy or light? After watching videos of Marrakech, I saw many female tourists in traditional very casual AMERICAN t-shirts, shorts/ jeans, even tank tops and sun dresses. On my own, I was planning to go to Morocco or Senegal from Portugal. In my research, I saw videos from Yad Adventures. His were good because he and his wife were confident travelers. They showed how you haggle. There was one town/city in particular he didn’t like how men spoke to his wife, while he was present. This wasn’t Marrakech. I saved to watch again, when I go.

I am doing the same thing. Jeans are a must, umbrella , house shoes, robe and a jacket. Layers are a must. I am struggling with what to pack.
