6:56 Thanks for pointing these out. I look for the Knobs/nubs also. They appear on bevel blocks as well as other types of blocks and even in bedrock sometimes.
very interesting, especially the part with the sadhu or temple guardian about the material that was used for the building in ancient times. i would be grateful for (english) subtitles there, i was unable to understand to a great extent what this man had to say.
108 and 1008 :-) That stone mixture, remnds me about a sculptor in about 2000 who came across a sandy concrete mix he kept secret, it hardens it a weird way, begins very soft and easy to carve but within a day or two after becomes rock hard Very nice video
geopolymer institute seem to be on it, as far as i can tell give a fairly reasonable explanation of how the ancients were at it. And then there is the ephedra(?) mixture found by the first explorers of Machu Pichu...
Ninth Heretic pomegranate and goats milk too, filterd through wool ;-) got me thinking about the Forbidden city and the tiles in palace, made from clay but they turned it to slurry and filtered it hundreds of times, not quite the same but by doing that they could get an awesome sheen on them.
