When talking about prices, are you referring to the shipping costs? Where I live I still have access to EMS, Air Small Packet, surface etc. so I think it's fine. But if you can only use DHL I can certainly understand why you'd look elsewhere. Edit: Well, this aged poorly. A few days after I wrote this, Japan Post suspended everything except surface shipping to most of Europe.
Dudeee I feel the same exact way about Trash Taste with figures. I didn’t even bother watching the figure special because I saw the vids they put out of going to buy the figures and was pretty much over it when they made Garnt buy a 1/4 bunny as a “yabai” type of challenge. I felt bad for the employees at AmiAmi that had to watch something like 9 people filming 3 separate videos of some dudes squealing about every booba they saw.
I watched their whole episodes of it and yeah for me it's a mix of good and bad leaning a bit more on the latter. Their anime figure special last year was better. The way they nonsensically argue about the figures and which who gets the score got into my nerves plus their choice of figures for their challenges are lame (yes you were Connor). Lol your comment on them squealing about booba had me crackin 😂
I Also had difficulties getting the darn plastic apart from my kaguya always scary when that happens. and i love that the base isnt to big she fits ferfectly in my glass cabinet

I just pulled the plug and preorderd my first freeing bunny last month , I was really waiting for the right girl and as soon as they announced the Rena Ryugu bunny from Higurashi I never pressed preorder as quick in my entire life lol
I just unboxed both of these exact figures myself! I actually found this video out of frustration because I thought my Kaguya didn't come with the piece for her right foot on the stand. Thankfully I found I actually had just left it in the box and all was good. Also going to have to say my hands will need some recovery time as unpackaging these things was a huge pain for me as well. Still all the while worth the blisters! Awesome video!

Where to start! Kaguya is 10/10 slinky. Mine also has the gap, but I'm happy with it. Maybe I'll find a 1/4 scale carrot and have her holding it! On the subject of hair, I have quite a few with more elaborate hair. Raphtalia, Millim, Chiyo and Sawamura Eriri have pretty elaborate and detailed hair. Taiga looks great, if only I could find the time to watch the series I might pounce.

Which kind of shipping though? I know some of these youtubers can only get DHL, which is based on box size. So you aren't exactly saving shipping money by putting them all in a huge one at that point. EMS shipping I think is on weight, so putting them all in a big box is probably saving money as there is also some fixed costs per package.

The scary part is that freeing bunnies are cheaper than almost all the amazing 1/7 scale figures with elaborate bases and decorations. These days it feels like you have to buy bikini figures to get under 16 000 yen.
Yay! You have received your Taiga now. I got her last week and that was like a week after seeing nearly everyone else showing off their own on soc media. Better late than never. As for FREEing’s hair sculpt - whilst I agree the Taiga bunny is pretty good I am more impressed with BINDing hair sculpts. I think the strand-y sculpts = more detail. I have a few FREEing B-styles atm but most of them are more than 10 yrs old and the lack of a “proper” hair sculpt then was acceptable I guess. One exception though - FREEing’s Zero Two bunny’s hair sculpt is lit. So much so I was so scared during her unboxing in case I break a hair strand. As for that Trash Taste figure episode, like you I could only bite my lip while watching it lol. But in their defence I think the boys never professed to be hardcore figure collectors. Love the double bunny unboxing vid and looking forward to more from you as per usual!
Oh yes, another point about Taiga which I forgot. I am not trying to be “height”-ist (is there such a thing) but if you think that the scale of a figure is based on the character’s “actual” height, I imagined her to be… more petite than what we see here. Taiga is actually slightly shorter than the Zero Two bunny. Even with Taiga is actually leaning slightly forward, she is on par with the Matoi Ryuuko bunny. Well, unless both Zero Two and Ryuuko are just as petite. Just an observation, anyone has any thoughts on this?
