The show is a disaster this season. Not just for this mishap, but the not giving the judges enough time to critique. They should be the only ones talking so the dancers know what to work on for their next performance. The small talk of nonsense is not needed and should be rushed or left out all together!! Horrible!
OH I KNOWWW! I TOTALLY AGREE ABOUT THE JUDGES BEING RUSHED AND ONLY SAY LIKE ONE SENTANCE IF THAT.... THE GUY IN THE MIDDLE NEVER GETS TO TALK HE IS ALWAYS TOLD TO MAKE IT QUICK... THATS CRAZY

Omg yesss totally agree!!!! The judges critiques are more important so the celebs know what to improve on... I'm guessing Tyra's commentary is to make up for the skybox interviews Erin Andrew's did in previous seasons after each performance... seriously they should just get rid of the "interview" portion by Tyra if that means the judges can say more to the dancers.

They probably would’ve had more time if it hadn’t been for the mishap. Clearing up the confusion and getting the right couples in front of the judges took up more time than the usual announcement of which couples are safe and who’s in the bottom two.
@@ifeelpretty5790 nah every week is the same rushed thing, which is just annoying because not only should the judges get a chance to think about what is the correct decision not just snap off the top of their head. And also should be able to provide feedback etc

I felt bad for Derek because he could barely talk without him getting rushed by her.

Tyras hosting hasn’t been my favourite this year but in all honesty this mishap wasn’t her fault, that being said it was still very embarrassing
Sorry, disagree. A sensible host would have seen that there were 3 couples left and immediately noticed there was an error on the card.

He's saying Tyra should have caught it a couple seconds earlier before naming the final two. So instead of saying that she should have called the error.
@@angelamallof No she didn't. She didn't notice until after she said Anne and Keo and Vernon and Peta were in the bottom two. That's when she was told in her ear by the producers that there had been an error and then she corrected herself. She could have detected that to begin with by just looking at how many were left.

Nothing really. Steve Harvey was given the wrong information on an awards show and announced the wrong winner in a major catagory the producers got in his ear and he had to pull everyone back announce the mistake and the correct winner.

Val hasn’t had a good partner since S24. Cheryl didn’t didn’t have a good partner in 10 seasons until Juan Pablo. Artem has only had one decent partner and that’s Nikki. He’s never gotten a 10.

This elimination was embarrassing to me,super confusing,and I'm sure humiliating for all the couples involved. Not sure if it was Tyra's fault or an actual error on the cards,but in the history of Tom Bergeron hosting,I've never seen anything more ridiculous.
I feel like nobody should've been sent home on this episode...instead,they should all dance again next week and have a double elimination afterwards.

Before the comments come, I have noticed since the beginning that Everytime the judges are talking to him or everytime an elimination is happening nelly looks extremely anxious. People do have anxiety, even if they have been performers for years he is very out of his element.. I don’t think he is being aggressive or rude or angry. I think he is just extremely anxious in these moments.
Dani M I really think he wants to go home. I heard his gf is uncomfortable with him dancing with Danielle. So that’s has to be uncomfortable for them dancing and practicing.
Ashley Powell that sucks! This is such a fun opportunity to get celebrities out of their regular element and their significant other should be supportive. He really is fun to watch.

I felt sorry for Tyra getting so frazzled. I think she just doesn't have "it" for live TV, like Tom did and the British hosts do (not that this ever happened there, whatever Bruno said: have another drink, Bruno). The first rule is "don't panic." We should never see you freaking out: "they're in my ear, they're in my ear!"

Justin Marshall well to be fair the judges have to be in a constant hurry when making their comments too, because she keeps cutting them off to ask the contestants more awkward and irrelevant questions or to talk about herself some more, so I just can’t feel bad for her.
@@idklol7655 but when Erin and Tom was hosting they asked questions too so what difference does it make? Plus do you notice. They have so many couples and its a two hour show and they can't go over that limit which is why tyra rushes them.

This missup wasn’t Tyra fault it was the producers fault...they gave her the wrong cards and then they were rushing Tyra in her ear bcoz they about to be off the air
She is a producer, though it’s not her fault. Bruno said something about UK, if they are trying to do this in uk and USA I see this being the first of many mishaps
Maybe they wouldn't have to rush Tyra if she didn't spend so much time chatting with the dancers and asking ridiculous questions like " how did it feel?".

Tyra Banks is HORRIBLE. No, not because of this mishap, I'm talking her talk show, Top Model, AGT .. everything. She is all about herself, SNL should do a skit about her always trying to top other people .. "that was an amazing performance, now watch how much better I can do it" - Tyra Banks
This was VERY uncomfortable but I really don't think it's Tyra's fault. Everyone is saying Tom never had this happen but he easily could have since it's an error on the production side, not the host. Tom might have handled it better with a better apology or a little joke but I don't think Tyra should be taking the heat for this
The difference is......Tom would have showed much more charm, and poise in situations like this - not angry or One Note like Tyra's delivery is. She is horribly miscast - she can wear 100 difft outfits and hair styles - this is detrimental to her career - the longer she stays on the show.
I agree, but the way she handled the situation made it into a far bigger problem than it should have been. Part of her job as host is keep the show running smoothly even with all the stress, last minute changes, and people talking in her ear. She really didn't handle any of it well. She cannot control the production side entirely (though she has lots of power as an exec producer), but she can control her own actions like doing a better job as a host ad-libbing during an unexpected situation like this and sounding FAR less monotone throughout. She just seems uncomfortable all the time on there and as a viewer, I feel that though the screen all the way across the country. Not any sort of knock on her as a person... this just is not the type of show for her. People can wish for zero production mistakes, but the fact is they will happen and the show needs a host up to par to handle them on live tv as they come up.

Yeah......Even if the error is the "cards fault", rule number one amongst professionals is not to finger point. Saying its live TV and basically that she is mindlessly reading the cards wasnt a great way to handle it. She has basically had a poor recovery from not only this, but every unexpected thing that has happened on the show, from interviewing contestants to wearing clothes she busts out of.
Tom is a class act and more professional than Tyra. He would have handled the situation with humor and grace.
Anyone else notice after Tyra’s horrible wardrobe change, that she was holding her dress from behind like she didnt finish on time? 🙄

Someone gave tyra the wrong cards. I give her credit for spotting a problem and then flagging it. This is where she shows if she can handle being a host on DWTS.
This season is just so like not good! Especially at the end it’s so rushed and awkward!
I don't think it was Tyra's fault. It was just an error on the cards she was reading. It's a control room error.

@Alyssa Cooper it wasn't her fault. She just reads whatever is on the cue cards that the producers give her and something went wrong. Probably in the control room or something. They probably gave her the wrong information.

People keep saying she's one of the producers, but that doesn't mean she's in charge of ALL aspects of the show. There are different levels of producers and being apart of production doesn't equal being a producer. That was a production error.

Depending on which data they are using. The elimination should have been based on last weeks judges results and this weeks audience votes. The two numbers are computed and the results printed and put on cards for tyra in 20 seconds before the results are read and the contestants placed on stage.

I personally think if they 86 the cringe cold openers and just keep the intro simple they might actually have time for judge feedback or just general extra time just in case (since it’s live an all, idk 🤷🏼♀️ it just feels like every episode has been crammed/rushed right up until the last sec)

I think we need to give Tyra more of a chance. I 100% wish they didn’t cut Tom and Erin, but we stuck with Tyra and it’s only been 4 weeks. Tom makes it look flawless because he’s been doing the show for 23 SEASONS and 15 YEARS. He understands the fast pace and limited time of the show, he develop relationship with the dancers/judges to make it sense natural, he’s a comedian so his strength is his jokes, and had years to know what to say for quick/flawless transitions/to keep judges from rambling because of their limited time. He also had Erin to help him.
Tom was wonderful but it’s unfair to Tyra if we count her out so soon but she definitely needs to put more time and work into this. You can definitely tell she’s nervous and out of her element, but with time of course she’ll get better.

When they are short for time and its more than 10 couples left over, maybe just state the following couples are safe: and the following three couples are in the bottom. This would allow the final couple a chance to maybe say something and get a proper exit. This has been the worse part of the season each week. I've watched the show since day one and Tom's made similar adjustments like this in the past to properly help speed up the elimination process. JMHO
Tyra Banks is overwhelmed. As a host, she has to react with some Humour and Charme, when a mistake happens. Inetead of this, she is complaining and yelling at the judges.

This is not ANTM she shouldn’t change outfits it’s not necessary. Also the questions she ask the celebrities are to personal or nonsense questions . Maybe it was not her fault but she left the other 2 couples standing and did not take control and give direction, Carrieann had to step in. I guess they let cameramen Go because even the cameraman are not on point they zoom in and out when they shouldn’t .
I am so glad that skai stayed for next week. Because her tribute she did for Cameron was amazing and beautiful. It really brings me in tears. I miss Cameron so much. I love him. I literally had a celebrity crush on him. But i am so happy she stayed. 💔😭

Literally, there needs to be some time management going on here. The long pauses, the multiple random questions, etc - they need to be cut short. They don't help the stars improve, the judges critiques help... time management on Tyra's end would definitely not have these judges having to speed through who to pick to save.

Tom & Erin were so GOOD at hosting this show that they made it look easy. Erin looked classy (as it should be for a ballroom dancing show), and they both had such a fun energy about them making it so pleasant to watch. Please bring them back! The flow just isn't there without them.
As far as the Keo comments and how he never gets the better partners, neither did Tony Dovolani for years!!! After someone dropped out at the last minute, by fluke Tony finally got a great partner in Melissa and won that year! So don't think it's only happening to Keo.

Okay absolutely not, Tyra is not it. I feel for her and I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt the first few weeks, but any good show host knows how to work under pressure without putting that strain on others. It's more than just standing pretty and making occasional jokes, they're supposed to facilitate the show's smooth running. The panicking and interruptions when time is running out or blaming her mishaps on the cards while the show is still running is totally unprofessional, even if the cards were wrong- apologize swiftly and respectfully if you must and move along without yelling at others to hurry! There are much more graceful ways to handle these things. Also, the judges critique is SO much more worth everyone's time than Tyra's dramatic pauses and frazzled comments that cut down on judge's time to speak!

Her star has fell leaving only but Carrie Ann said "It's Hard to say Goodbye to Anne and Heche but only 10 couples remaining Monica and Val will dance next week. Thanks to Tyra and to two men we lost this week. Johnny Nash was best known for his hit "I Can See Clearly Now" and was join by Ziggy Marley for his tune 'One Love. Johnny Nash was 80 years old and remembering a blind guitarist virtuoso....Guitarist Eddie Van Halen. for 4 decades, he was the man who made music easy as the boys that called them Van Halen and it top the charts with Jump by the wild boy of music David Lee Roth and his tune Beat It by Michael Jackson.
