Outrageously good. Stands up as one of the most sophisticated d n b tracks ever kind, works at a rave, works at home, even my mum didn’t think it was bad haha
What people forget, and if they read thru all the threads on the old labels was they all collaborated with each other, bringing a whole different set of skills together to make what I think was some of the most innovative and engaging music heard for years
I like the conlusion your words seem to be pointing at (feel free to correct me), that keeping the fatness of a certain sound is attained, mostly by simply remembering the sound that served as a sound that we could build upon, and build upon it. Humanity is kind of lost in the woods now, but memories of a sound remain. If I were king of the world, I'd make an effort out of bringing good stuff like this back. In a refreshed form of course, but definitely back! BACK!
This was one of the first Jungle tracks I ever heard... Fell in love and have been Junglist since, Old skool jungle beats any other music I've ever heard!!! I listen to this once a day at least.
Remember hearing this for the first time dropped by Grooverider back in the day! Stood there with a massive grin on my face swaying from side to side; off it! 😁
I also first heard it at the grooverider, its the same but different? How does he do that? What is going on? I wish i had bought 1000 pills back in the day and buried them
Nigh every mix of this track is brilliant, but there's something about this particular mix, that just makes it truly astounding!!! This is right up there as one of my favourite DnB tracks ever! When you heard those snares being mixed in, and you knew that hands in the air moment of the pianos was imminent, followed by a dirty bass filled drop!!! Those were the days!!! Thank you Omin Trio & Foul Play, those memories will stay with me forever!! 😊😃
I was 11 - old enough to fiddle with the dial but barely old enough to understand the difference between the ragga pirates (eg. Ragga FM 99.6 / Station FM 89.8) and rave-jungle pirates (eg. Eruption FM 101.3). The London waves were alive and crowded in those days, though. There were also bare West Africa Christian stations preaching fervently. Big up DJ Keithley of Station FM - community radio stalwart since 1991.
Remember hearing this for first time at desire at the roller. Couldn't stop humming it on way home. Most of my pals didn't dig this mellower stuff. But for me this was just a good peice of music. Not just in jungle or d+b but any music.
High Contrast usually puts out good remixes, checked out his take on this but even he can't beat the VIP mix, absolute classic - one of the greatest jungle tracks ever released
I'm really disappointed in myself that I only discovered this absaloute tune couple months ago. When I got told it was done in the 90s. I couldn't believe it. Quality of production is unreal
@@nuwmaas Tune broke me when it came out. All the London pirate stations had this on constant repeat! I know you're saying its slept on, now maybe, but at the time it was everywhere, on every station, played in every club night. The combination of Omni Trio, a silly talented musician who now puts out classical music, and Foul Play( RIP Steve Bradshaw) was probably the best collaboration you could have wished for. Most Foul play remixes are probably some of the best tracks in the entire genre. Blew my mind. Still does, almost 30 years later! 🤯
❤️❤️ Used to be my fav beat! Great to listen to it again! Mahakala/li riding on snares, nothing to worry. Ride the snare well. OMFG Break Beat Masters 🤍🤍❤❤💣💣
OMG!! Goosebumps…😊 Literally just done me beans in my pants finding this fucking beautiful classic!! 🙌🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🏾 Great and amazing memories rushing HARD to this one back in the dayzzz..😜
This has become way more popular in the last 5 year. I remmember being the only one who bumped this now it's mainsteam. So happy it deserves more recognition
anticipate jordan each to their own! i just think the chopped amen on this and the higher pitched piano makes it just sound far superior. like i said though, the original foul play remix was still awesome
+Ollie Duracell the original FP mix is a bit less melodic and hastier dance number could slip in a mix imo. But yeah this version is the one for me. too. ^_^

I left all my mates in the pub so I could go home and crank this up.
Genius.
BOH!!!!
Is the correct decision
i endorse this.

There's no disputing, THIS is the better version, rolling drum and piano with in dispersed vocal. Beautiful arrangement
It’s tough, I’m gonna sit on the fence. They’re both amazing 😂😂
But yeah, this one is my favourite juuuuust. Simply because it’s not been caned as much 🥳🥳
Fuckoff bout' NO DISPUTING!...The original mek dis one sound like an apprentice to rahtid.
The BEST version
You might prefer it on your headphones but this wasn't the one that got played out.
Stills sounds like music from the future in 2023... fantastic track..
It certainly does ❤

It is an epic track!! Well produced and caused mayhem on the dance floor. Takes me back to raving at the Sanctuary.
Same. I listen to this track almost everyday. Soul Promenade Nookie Mix is also massive.

The snares on this mix of this track are crazy, renegade snares definitely fits the title here.
