Thank you so much!! At first I tried to get the socks to be perfectly straight like in her online product photos. But they either kept riding up or falling down. I just thought it best to give her a slouchy sock so it stays out easier 😅
Thank you so much for your comment! 💕 I just recently started working on BJD (even though I've been a fashion doll designer for many years 😆) and I really like making tutorials! Please let me know if you have any questions!
I painted over her hair with acrylic paint! It wasn't dyed. And I didn't remove the original paint before going over it with the new color. I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more questions!
Thank you so much for your reply. I have a blank faceplate with a hair piece, and I'm thinking about how to customize them. Will try acrylic paint like you say, thanks again XD
Hello! Yes, I seal the paint with a clear matte spray before and after painting! I also seal after important steps, like after sketching the eyes, and adding blush/eyeshadow. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Haha gotta get through the "ugly phase" of the makeup before it gets pretty 😂
@@MJHsuArt It definitely did get pretty though lol
Haha thanks! Sometimes I get scared in the early "ugly" phases like "am I doing the right thing?" 🤣
@@MJHsuArtI know that too well with my own art, but it'll always turn out better than you think at least...
Until it doesn't every so often-
Your voice is so cute! I love your tutorials. They're super beginner friendly

Thank you so much!! 💕
I love her hair! What sort of paint do you use for the hair?
Thank you so much! I use acrylic paint. Specifically Golden fluid acrylics - It has thin consistency and provides great coverage!
@@MJHsuArt thank you!
@@altspacecadet no problem! Let me know if you have any more questions!
May I ask what paint you've used to dye her hair? Did you remove the original paint before that?

Do you use anything to seal the paint on the doll's face?
