- The 24h Le Mans 2024 demanded everything from the BMW M Motorsport family. Enthusiastic fans, an electrifying atmosphere and a lot of glamour surrounding our VIP guests and the 20th BMW Art Car were mixed up with sporting drama on the racetrack. In the end, we mastered the challenge and celebrated on the podium.

I had so high hopes for this. Anticipated since the LMDH program has been announced. And then.. Vanthoors yeets the car twice and all is lost. This is not about hate or blame, its about soting things out that hurt your success. And Vanthoor was far from on top of things, he choked. This task was too big for him. And I can not understand, how you can put Vanthoor in the M Hybrid V8 when you have an absolute ACE and LEGEND in the roster, named Augusto Farfus. So whoever decided to lay it all in Vanthoors hands also choked and also was overwhelmed by the task. Watching this was so discouraging as a fan. So humiliating. All this anticipation and then the Audi driver yeets the car twice and thats it? Wow. I am very upset. I never want to see Vanthoor in a BMW jacket again, let alone a race car. He surely is a great dude, but this.. this was too big for him and it was foreseeable. So his manager should also be replaced. This was a disgrace for the BMW M brand.

Yea but they just HAD TO film something and post it. It was the biggest failure in the history of BMW Motorsport, but the film crew was there so.. yeah.. film something, then cut 6h of material down to a few minutes because you absolutely sssssssssssssssssssucked.
The 31 car came second in lmGt3 but the lmdh cars didn't achieve a podium
@@Cheesecake433 Wish GT cars had a bit more coverage at Le Mans, but then again I guess regular GT racing series exist too
31 was literally in the top 3
modern BMW M is a disappointment just like your consumer M cars, make a good car that doesn't weight 1000lbs more than it needs to and then go race. You'll probably win again just like you did when you cared about such things.
