What is RDD means where we use?
Hey Rajesh, RDD is the acronym for Resilient Distribution Datasets - a fault-tolerant collection of operational elements that run parallel. The partitioned data in RDD are immutable and distributed, which is a key component of Apache Spark.

for a beginner is hadoop or spark to get started
Many get confused with this question. Spark is a Processing Layer over the Hadoop HDFS(Hadoop File Storage) system. The traditional Data Processing tool for Hadoop is MapReduce. Spark is completely similar to MapReduce and it also used for Data Processing. The only difference is that the Spark Processing tool is very fast, light and convenient. Hence, for a beginner in Big Data, Hadoop and all its major components happen to be the core and important subjects. You can easily understand Spark only if you have a better understanding of Hadoop.
What are basic requirements to learn Apache Spark
A basic understanding of functional programming and object oriented programming will help. You do not need to be a master in it, either. Hope this helps :)

It is a lot more oriented towards programming and database. You will learn basics of OOPs followed by an introduction to Big Data and Hadoop. Course also includes Spark framework and ML using Spark MLlib. Data frames and Spark SQL are also an important aspect of this training. Hope this helps :)
