📌For those who want more info about my bike. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
I’m riding the Scott Ransom 910 in size large ( I’m 1.82cm).
I love the Rockshox Lyrik fork in 170mm. Perfect for every trail. The shock I use is the standard Fox/Scott Nude shock.
I use hand built wheels with DT Swiss hubs and Newman rims.
The best thing about my bike are the Michelin Wild Enduro racing line tyres. I use them with PTN tire inserts.
I ride the Sram eagle drivetrain with Shimano XT brakes and Galfer discs.

@@olivierbruwiere Pumping hard, from top to finish, i spotted Killian (in white) when you where sliding from ice then he push hard in front and somewhere in the forest had some bad luck with the rear-derrailur or a flat huh.. so 1st was SPeter or someone else ? cool smooth run.. congrats !

as much as i enjoy wathching winning runs, this was much more exciting to watch. The lad who got 2nd place dropped in out of nowhere. Great video and exciting to watch. The last frame sums it up. Brilliant
37:00 - When the guy in yellow passed you I was thinking you'd left him behind - then a guy in orange appears from nowhere and jumps in front of all three of you - madness!
The orange guy was Liam Moynihan. His video is also on RUclips. There you can see the race from a different point.

Jup, on the snow you can reach higher speeds.
At 40:55 you all passed Killion Bron - he apparently hit a branch a bit too hard...he was in first place at that point unlucky for him.

De toutes les vidéos de course de la Méga, c'est de loin celle qui rend le mieux la sensation de vitesse, car il y a la plupart du temps un rider juste devant ! Pour avoir fait cette course trois fois j'imagine d'autant mieux le niveau physique et technique pour rouler plus de 40min à ce rythme !!!

I had an average speed of 28,7 km/h on the 21km track. Max speed of 70km/h on the snow. Pretty slow if you look @ the speeds of other years. The snow was soft this year.
During the race, you are focused on the trail. You don’t see anything else 🤷🏼♀️

Really need to figure out a way to give more spots for passing in that last 5 min section. Becomes basically locked in at that point short of mechanical failure.
It’s the same @ the start. If you miss the start, it’s almost impossible to get back to the front. Maybe that’s also the thing that makes the Megavalanche so great…

I've only raced once but it was a cross country not a down hill. I also raced in a trail run event and was the first person to the top of the mountain but then bonked and cruised from that point forward till I finished the about 24 mile race. I like riding hard but also at the same time being safe to ride another day. That's hard core riding and sometimes I go for it but not on the entire ride like that. I've seen several races on this trail so it must be a very popular place to ride and have racing events. Where is this place?

What happened to rider 481.....I saw him pass the leader then never saw him at the end. Did he crash?
passed him at around 40:27 he was way ahead of the leader. something mush have happened to his bike. or he crashed. He dropped everyone on the hill climb. kept a steady lead and went out of sight from the leader. Really fast rider. Dont know his name or what happened but he was like several seconds ahead of the leader.
Near the end, we passed Kilian Bron. He was leading the race until he had a flat tyre.

We can practice the track the days before the race. We rode it a couple of times and there are not so many options to go the wrong way.
