Blizzard will never cease to amaze me with their music. I love the new theme! It fits the current state of the world perfectly! The chorus parts continue to give me chills.
Just imagine adding plastic love to the start menu.

That rendition of the Kul Tiras themes was amazing!
I like the Wind flute part for Zandarlari. Sometimes I just sit in the main city of Zandalari just to listen to the wind flutes portion to play over and over. Eventually it loops out so I have to go to an inn or an off shoot zone to switch the song then walk back into the city to have the song restart.
You can enable everytime music in your options. Sorry for my english, just tried to give you a tip :D

I really like it how it is. I really not a fan of login themes that blast your ears away within the first 5 seconds, this starts nice and calming and builds up really well.
This is awesome. Love the start as it slowly builds up to an epic battle taking place, and then it moves to the other places of the Xpac.
See I hated that, other expansjons we're hype this one wasn't bombastic enough

@@principetnomusicAs of BFA, Gilneas has been reclaimed. Dalaran is Alliance, only neutral for gameplay purposes. And the forsaken are rotting in Kalimdor. Try again.
@@facepalm0864 Dalaran is still ruled by Khadgar as far as I remember, and Khadgar is neutral. Lordaeron being destroyed does not change that most of its citizens now serve the Horde. Gilneas is still in ruins and sparsely populated.
The reason that this login music is such a departure from the previous expansions is due to Blizzard eliminating the senior sound and music designer position which Russel Bower held. Russel Bower had a major hand in many of the most epic musics in WoW today (he joined the company in 2005 which is when Blizzard started making raids like Sunwell and Black Temple have non generic music tracks, which is because of Russel Bower). His loss from the development team is a sad one indeed.
I'm getting Vanilla vibes. This actually feels like WoW. I can't fathom why people are disliking it.

Excactly! Propably those people never played vanilla before. Also the cinematics had so much citation of the old Warcraft III cinematics, it was awesome to see the marketing rolling on...
Then you should sit down and listen to it ("Shaping of the worlds")(for your inner N8elf). Also to Burning Crusade's "The Betrayer and The Sun King" ( very powerfull) and WotLk "Invincible" (don't cry!). Search for the Blizzard Best-of Album "Echoes of War" here on youtube. It was released for free when Blizz celebrated one of their birthdays about 10years ago.
The soundtracks after WotLk were just bad (except Mist of Pandaria-Login Screen)

I love this theme. Find it to be more simple and less tacky like alot of wow is. But it brings out a jack sparrow vibe in me. Horde music starts around 2min mark and puts me in jurrasic park.

I think it's pretty good. I have a music degree and I enjoy the way they interwove the themes from each character. You can clearly identify Anduin, Sylvannas and then maybe Old Gods? It's not the same theme we are used to that almost every expansion we've had, it's similar but it doesn't start with the same bombastic horn part. MoP and WoD were cool, but they're trying something else and depending on the art, this might actually grow on you eventually!

Yes I know and it will serve as a preview of the WHOLE BfA soundtrack just like Legion.
This has interesting feel, very different to the usual soundtrack. It is interesting how Anduin and Sylvanas themes are incerted in the usual WoW theme, and how only then Zandalar theme is introduced.

I am not sure why people don't like this, it's different and it's a new age for Azeroth, of course it will sound different. The start marks the end of the Legion and midway the contrasting zone's, which give's them a whole different overview.
I like it tbh, may I remind you it's called "Before the Storm" -so of course it will sound not as chaotic as Draenor did or so. It's BEFORE the chaos.

I don't feel warcraft in it that much unfortunately, but maybe it will grow on me when I listen to it a few times.
Honestly it's not to late to get the Sound Directors to fix this. We need to formalize a movement to include callbacks to pieces by Jason Hayes like Seasons of War, and A Call to Arms. Or Legends of Azeroth. These are essential to the Warcraft sound, and -especially- for a WAR expansion. I'm working on an edit about now, that hopefully isn't a stretch for Blizzard. I hope we can get some fix here.
I do love the bits with Canticle of Sacrifice (Anduin's Theme) and the main reason why it is like this is because it is more about humanity than the other ones, WoD was all about war drums and orcs, Mists was just wonderful in it of itself, and Vanilla was vanilla.

Bfa may be UHHHH but Zandalar and Kul Tiras we're beautiful. My main is Highmountain. The mounts and pets were sick. I'll never forget the Loa I met. Maybe a bad expansion for many reasons but damn it did a lot of good too

The First time i have to say I dont really enjoy the login Music. Sure its good but i miss a really good Highlight and more Variation. It Sounds a bit Like Background Music.

Not all music has to be as bombastic as possible. Sometimes a mellow section provokes better emotions.
