    One of my favourite tracks, the one where I had the best SOF Feature Race ever. Nice place to start a season.

    That's exactly what I've been waiting for ! Thanks ! Tried it yesterday and did a couple of 1.59s. I can probably find a full second on Knickerbrook and in the last sector.

      @@Sambo_iRacingdo you use button clutch? And what brake bias for Oulton?

    • @Sambo_iRacing
      @Sambo_iRacing  Месяц назад +1

      Yes I do mate. Well I did before Simagic gave me an FX Pro wheel with dual clutches. They didn’t make me faster than a button clutch but I like them. BB is 4 clicks back (that’s what I always default to).

    Giga guides! and gratz big champ.
    Are the setups that are used in the fixed series always (or at least in the vee) the base setups for each track from iracing? Just wondering if I go test drive if I should select some setup or if it's auto the correct one.

    • @Sambo_iRacing
      @Sambo_iRacing  Месяц назад +1

      Thanks buddy and yes, everything is fixed (or baseline as it’s called on the Vee). All my guides are for Rookie Fixed Series (so far) so don’t have any special set ups. Only thing I do on the Vee is four clicks back on brake bias.

    I just found this. Thanks, I've been struggling to get up to speed in the Formula Vee. I've been practicing at Oulton Park. I have been having a tough time with the shifts. If I miss one then it won't recover. It appears that you use the clutch for both up and down shifts. May I ask what your brake bais is set to? Thanks for the content and help.

    • @Sambo_iRacing
      @Sambo_iRacing  Месяц назад

      Yeah I have dual paddle clutches on my rim so I just pull the gear and clutch paddles at the same time. The key in the Vee is not down shifting until the very last second. Brake bias is four clicks back from baseline (65.5 I think).

      @@Sambo_iRacing I was going to ask the question you just answered! Currently using auto but want to move to manual. Have a Siamgic base and rim with dual paddles coming next week so sounds like it won't be too hard a transition with your technique. Ty.
