My wife is constantly running into different situations where our son playfully is very loud while we are watching tv, or interrupting when she is on the phone, or saying something he shouldn’t in front of a stranger..she’s thought about trying to cover his mouth, even jokingly in those situations but she’s curious if it’s common amongst other moms to do it jokingly or playfully, and if it’s socially acceptable? Have you ever had to gently/playfully cover your kids mouth under any circumstances?
