Hey Ash, not sure if you know this/have tried it but you can actually bake the dumplings in the oven. I usually bake from frozen for around 20 minutes on about 200°C, just saves on using more oil, a tad bit healthier.
These are such great ideas! Normally these videos are very similar but all your ideas were wonderful. I’m going to try the pizza rolls & dumplings.

Hey sweets! If you follow the link the in the description I did a video organising my fridge and freezer and share where I bought all of the containers from. I believe the freezer ones are IKEA and then I have a few in there from Kmart :)
Hi Ash! My mum bakes on a large scale regularly for events and cafes and she uses the older bananas freezes them in a ziploc bag. When she wishes to use them she purées the banana is the ninja and pours it directly into the mixture - makes for an even texture when consuming.

I didn’t know that about the flash freezing! So clever! I’m not sure if my freezer will do that but I’m hoping to upgrade to the same fridge as you eventually so I’ll keep that in mind. Awesome idea to have all of the food pre done in the freezer! Just wondering whether you freeze yoghurts as well or just pop one into their lunch from the fridge?

Also, legit feeling you on the sushi topic lol. I feel like my lifestyle / the type of people I am around that I should like it. I have tried multiple times a year... almost 27, still hate sushi lol
so lovely to see you all in the vlog! Is it essential to have egg in the dumplings or can we leave it out? Also i don't have one of those dumpling steamers could i boil water and put the dumplings in a bowl on top, how long do you cook them for? will be trying these recipes for uni :) xx
Hey pretty thank so much for the lovely comment! I'm not sure if you can leave the egg out as it helps the mixture stick together but I'm sure if you google an egg free pork dumpling filling there has to be something out there surely with how many people suffer from allergies these days. You can actually pan fry them if you like! Just add a small amount of the sesame seed oil to a non stick pan and fry them for a couple of minutes until you see the pastry deflate and go slightly transparent :)

Just water or vinegar lovely! I find that plain old water on a microfibre swivel mop gets the shiniest result! What have you been using? x
Ash Jackson I’ve tried heaps of different mops and love the Monster steam mop the most. I’ll give your method a go would be nice for quick clean ups xx
So hard to keep clean it’s annoying the foot prints they don’t stay shiny looking for long 😭 what is the actual mop you use I’ll have to have a look x

I do love your ideas, and your videos are fun, but I, too, was a little grossed out by all the hair touching and nose touching during meal prepping. May be the OCD in me. I know you are full of good intentions, especially considering you told your oldest daughter that you "can't bake when your hair isn't tied back"! I know you know what to do :-) BTW - your youngest daughter is just gorgeous. You call her Louie - is that short for Louise?

Lovely video, but please stop running your fingers through your hair while you are cooking. Granted, I know its for your family but very unsanitary. The dumplings sound amazing though!
Touching your hair and then the food? Really? Yuk yuk yuk ,soooooo unhealthy, shame about the healthy produce you use, it definitely kills all the effort you make
