yeah, maybe quitting CCNP wouldn't be a wise move, especially after passing the ROUTE exam. But recently I found myself to be very reluctant to learn the differences between VTPv2 ant VTPv3, the default timers of HSRP, VRRP, GLBB and similar boring stuff. Network programming looks such an exciting, creativity-invoking activity, can't wait to dive into it. You are right, I need to do CCNP and programming concurrently, maybe that will cheer me up
Hi David once again thanks to you and Hank on great job I really appreciate all this info. I would like to know with all these platforms available from Cisco is only Cisco hardware devices supported by these platforms? In my experience most customers have a mixture of vendor networking equipment "not ideal but a reality in some cases". Once again thanks a mil.
You are absolutely correct Mark... very few customers are single vendor today. This is why our management, testing, simulation, etc tools strive to be open to supporting a wide variety of vendors and platforms. For example, Cisco NSO supports over a hundred different platforms from vendors including (but not limited to) Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, Citrix, Ciena, Palo Alto, NEC, Ericsson, Arista, VMware, Fortinet, A10, Avaya, F5, Brocade, and on and on and on
Thank you Guys for making this video, it was really helpful to understand NSO's capabilities. Could you please help me to understand how NSO will interact with SD-WAN solutions for configuration management?
The NSO installer comes with a small set of NEDs for trials and labs. If you need additional NEDs for evaluation, feel free to reach out at camoberg@cisco.com

Thank you so much. Mr.David & Hank Preston. when I watch a video everyday from Mr.David, Each video are coming to me with new thing...................
Professor, Can you make more video about NSO, i have heard that the NSO is the future of Networking.
i wish you all the best.
Thanks guys, very informative videos part 1 and part 2
@david Bombal Is that right to say for large and medium enterprise DNA and for small companies NSO is the way?
Thank you David & Hank
these video series inspire me to quit studying CCNP and dive into network programming
I suggest you try to do both. Don't quit CCNP. Try to do them concurrently.

Awesome stuff Guys ........
The NEDs can also be downloaded for free to evaluate NSO?
NSO actually comes with a number of NEDs that can be used for the evaluation. These are not production NEDs though.

NSO its excellent tool.....
