1:58.. mine are really in there tight.. they never fall out...this is THE BEST set you can get for under $200 IMO..i've had mine since 2018 so I have the older style ratchets and I still think it's great 4:05.. you'll never use them.. that's the beauty of this set.. they don't give you crap you will never use...👍
Good Lord that thing is the size of a suitcase. One thing almost all these new cases are missing is a compartment so you can ad a few extra things to the set.
As big as the case is, I found it a bit heavy, 36 or 38 lbs., but it is full of tools. My case held everything well but their new home will be in on rails. Fleet Farm this week is $99.99!😄
Update, used many of the tools and everything works well. The tools are worthy of the DeWalt name. Don't be afraid of the low price, it is a quality set.
@@danr1920 Thanks. I was on the fence. Not sure “Fleet Farms” is available in my region (never heard of it) but at least I know what kind of deal to shoot for. Sounds like a place for fleet drivers but so does Tractor Supply Co and everyone around here has heard of them. ;)
After using it for a while now I still like it! I did indeed get the 6 point set, I think 6 point is better because I’m willing to sacrifice a little convenience for not rounding bolts off.
The "missing" metric deep sockets is not too important because they left out the metric sizes rarely used. The people at Dewalt are not stupid and know exactly what they're doing. I own this set as well, got in on Amazon and have never needed the metric deep sockets sizes "missing" on this set. But oh well, too each his own.
I’ll definitely agree that they are among the least used sockets in the set, however: I bought this set in hopes that I would get a complete metric set, because I use metric far more often than SAE, and especially when working on cars there have been times I’ve needed those missing metric sockets like I said in the video.
@@nickwb Ok, my bad. I guess I missed that part of the video. Anyhow, I ordered this set as well and love it. It sits in the trunk of my Toyota Camry just in case. Excellent quality from Dewalt.
LMAO I took all the sae out of this case because my FJ only has metric and it definitely made it lighter. Thing was like 36 pounds with everything in there
I wonder why they aren't just all metric, and sell the SAE sizes as an ad on. Most people don't own a pre mid '80's or old USA car and generally don't use sockets on household things.
@@danr1920 Vehicles aren’t the only things that use bolts. You never know what you’re going to run into. As a big DIY and hobby guy, for the price…. why not? If you’re building something and you need bolts and the store doesn’t have enough of one size but another size will work and there’s enough, well now you have the tools to cover a wider range of options to keep your project going. 🤷♂️ I don’t see that as a bad thing. This isn’t something that you’d carry with you all day anyways. Throw it in your truck or garage or closet and grab what you need when you need it, ya know?

I bought the gearwrench over this. Nice unboxing
Also I can literally drop my case and my sockets won't come loose. Case is a beast

@@danr1920 Currently $240 on their site! Wow. Even factoring for a year of record inflation, that must’ve been one heck of a sale. ;)
You still think it was worth it? Did you get 6pt? I just bought this same set i think. Thanks

@@nickwb Not much need for 12 points when you have high count ratchets
