I played the shit out of this game back in the day, and it's really cool to see content like this we never had all these years later. I know Ultimate Ninja Storm is a proper evolution of the series, but man, I loved the gameplay in the old Ultimate Ninja games.
keeping him in the American version would have actually promoted the film rather than spoil it and also there are two advertisements for the film if you select trailers from the start menu
I love the fact that as a character he was so useless he didn't even get a made up ultimate and instead just has his Minions do the work. Then Again it was probably the only way they'd make it in the game too since they had a similar lack of moves.
They could've done a Budokai Tenkaichi thing for this game. Add in some movie characters as well as a story mode containing the movie stories along with it.
It's probably cause the game developers couldn't get the rights to the movie characters. For some reason, the right for Naruto don't include the movie content in them. It was the same for Storm 4. I remember around the time they announced Boruto and Sarada were pre-order charters, alot of people were saying that CC2 and Bandai really had to fight for the rights to use the characters.
Yoo I had a jap copy when I was a kid and got stuck to the mission with sakura because I cant read jap to use 6 clones lol good thing I figured things out eventually

They should include more Movie characters in Naruto games, also Sora and Filler Mizuki

Storm was the budokai tenkaichi. Ultimate ninja was just the “budokai”
