- This is the Hadrian X, a pioneering and autonomous brick laying robot developed by the Australian company, FBR Limited. It can build a standard 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house in just one to three days depending on the type of block used and the complexity of the design. Dubbed the world's most advanced construction robot, the Hadrian X if placed in the right environment and continuously at work, each unit could build between 100 to 300 homes annually. With an impressive record of building a standard sized home every two days on average, this revolutionary brick laying robot actually has a surprisingly small footprint. This allow the Hadrian X to be mounted onto a classic cab over engine truck to easily transport it to and from a location for the on site building. This extremely versatile construction robot could also be mounted on to other bases such as tracks, barges, boats, and cranes, making it flexible for different building needs in various locations. The Hadrian X uses FBR's Dynamic Stabilization Technology, which measures the movement caused by wind, vibration, and inertial in real time. This smart robot then responds instantaneously using advanced algorithms to offset this movement to maintain stability and offer unparalleled precision, in a variety of conditions.

Just when you thought AI was no threat to a mason's job security.
What about mortar? Nothing like the quality of a bricklayer
I'll be keeping my shares and buying many more!
Shares?
Where can you buy shares
is it listed as a SPAC. WHat is the ticker?

This video is 3 years old how is it doing?
I ♥️Hadrian X. One day I will build a castle 🏰 with it.
Not even close😂🤣
People write about some secret adhesive in place of mortar, but eg. at 01:30, middle left side of the screen you can clearly see lots of holes through the wall. In some other places you can see same stuff. Additionally, eg. you may observe it very well at 0:50 that bricks are just layed from top without any adjustment to the side, they're just dropped from top. That means that even if there's some 'secret adhesive', it has no chance to stick to neighbouring brick. It looks just like a big robot dropping bricks, not like a machine that is capable of creating sustainable walls. Waste of time so far.
I believe they don't use the adhesive for many of demonstrations so the blocks can re-stacked and used again.
@@stewpacalypse7104 Then it's a poor demonstration. If that actually is so easily applicable, they may film it on-site while erecting actual building for somebody.
These are not bricks. They are concrete blocks
Doesn't it need adhesive mortar between blocks?
Interesting LEGO, BUT where is mortar , adhesive or cement.... something... Nice, it's ok only for no-earthquake area.
They apply an in house made adhesive before laying the bricks. But we believe that this is not for earthquake prone areas.
@@GlobalIPTrust at 04:15 you can see that they are strengthtening the construction with steel. So, after all it might be even for earthquake areas 🙂
Reo isn’t tired down and there’s no horizontal Reo
The amount off guys you need to operate 3-4?
A team of 3 blockies can finish that house in less then 3 days easy,
But hey it looks good
Robot doesn't need breaks.
Robot doesn't need to go home, can work all day and night.
Robot doesn't need 3-4 people 24/7. It just needs material and one guy to oversee it.
Robot spares workers for muscle aches and long term disordes from hard work.
Also where do you get 3 days from? No team of bricklayers can complete such a house in 3 days to an acceptable standard. lol
I'm two years late to this party... but the global problem is that the average age of a 'blockie' in the developed world is now approaching 60 yrs and there are nowhere near enough of them. The shortage is in the millions globally and there are nowhere enough kids going into masonry trades. So it's either develop machines like this that can lay the block... or find a different material to use. But there are not enough carpenters, not enough iron workers, not enough of any of the building trades, and the demographics are not going to get any better...we know exactly how many people will be coming into the workforce for the next 20 years (they're already born) and we can make an educated guess for the next 40 after that.
I’d love to know what is holding these walls up??
I love presents.
Is the robot also applying cement mortar and joining the bricks or just laying them down?
It looks like its just laying them down. But they use a special adhesive to bond the bricks.
Hadrian X also applies special adhesive on the bricks instead of the mortar, you just can't see it.
@@kathyv8217 Thank you for the information!
@@GlobalIPTrust I watched all their videos to see it. I was interested. The application of the adhesive is hidden, it happens just before the brick is being gripped for laying, at the end of the ' crane frame' or how to called it. It's interesting. I ❤️ Fast Bricks Robotics and Hadrian X.
@@kathyv8217 That was some great information! Thank you for spreading your knowledge. 😁
What about the mortar/cement?
It uses construction adhesive stronger than mortar
No cavity for insulation?
No Mortar?

So what does this mean for bricklayers? Learn to code. That's what it means.
This comment did not age well
but where IS the concrete

Is there any cement between 😅😅😅😅😅
Construction adhesive
3 days? When our crew has two people call in we can finish one in a day with four people
1 to 3
👍
What sht is that have no concrete between those blocks
thats the tomorrow . lets wake up to it
@@GlobalIPTrust wtf r u on about. learnt he basic of construction before making comments like that.
It has adhesive between the blocks
lol 5% of house build
And this house has no basement....
hmmm. sad but is a very eco friendly method of construction
...so?
30 Sec. a brick ===>> 1000 per hour???????????????? lol ====>>>> dream on
It looked like an interesting video, but I had to stop watching because of the hideous "Robovoice"!
Thumbs down for robot voice.
This’ll be another invest in a loser advert 😂
Missing a trick here. No mention of AI. And put Elons face on the side then everyone will want one.
