A few weeks ago. I have to go every month as I have been colouring my hair for over forty years. A trim, or maybe a cut, depends on my mood, whether I want it to grow or it doesn't want to cooperate. A good cut, a clean look, really gives me a needed emotional boost!
My moms a cosmetologist, so not yet!

This client has an air of depression and sadness about him...what a transformation...hope he heals...personally...I'm not crazy about fades but this was probably the best for this client...I noticed t😢he has patches where his hair is very thin...probably breakage from the matted hair....healing to the client and kudos to the stylist...you done good...

A man's barber is one of the most important people in his life, great work.
On my goodness! U sure did work ur magic here Ken! I don't think I have ever seen hair so matted! This man's hair hadn't seen a comb for years! But this haircut was testament to ur sheer professionalism! What u were faced with with this horrendous hair just proved how adept in your craft u truly are ! Well done once again Ken u sure worked ur magic ! It was a pleasure to watch this transformation and he looked totally different after ur superb haircut ! Brilliant superb! Peace !

Agree. Long hair is a commitment, not just to the growth but also to the care and maintenance. And some textures are just gonna be more maintenance than others. His hair would be beautiful if grown out long and flowing, but he would need to deep condition, detangle, and keep up with the trims every 6-8 weeks. He’s a handsome guy, deserves a hairstyle that is easy to maintain and highlights his natural good looks.

Folks gotta realize barbers and hairstylist due as the client wants and only include their educational opinions and wants when needed it. Listening to the clients and achieving what their vision as best as you can is what keeps them coming back and as well as more clientele
He had to have had extremely dry hair for it to mat up like that. Keeping it pulled back like he did, will break Hair, especially if it’s dry or damaged! 4, once again, you saved another person’s looks! ✌🏼👍🏼

Looks great except the front is too severe and makes his face look wide at the forehead. I think that’s because it’s so squared off at the forehead. But you sure saved a lot of hair!

I had experience this recently for the first time dealing with such knotted hair that joined together that was impossible to break apart with long mullet hair style . Young kid 14 years old I didn’t do my scalp Analysis throughly as I finished the hair cut starting the trim I ran into that problem parents looking at me & im there sweating it , I was very limited on trimming this kids hair , I personally was not satisfied at all . I wish I had this option to transform the hair cut as this but parents understood as I showed them the issue which he decided he still wanted to keep .
