    The Aluminum Design Manual also permits design of aluminum sections per the Finite Strip Method. I have never attempted it but would love to as it could be great for complex shapes like window mullions. The first big obstacle was the effort it would take to create cross sections for some of the more complex shapes.
    Do you have any references or examples of how that might be implemented? Is it possible that ClearCalcs might add this a design module? I don't believe there is anything like it on the market.

      Hi Jim, thanks for your comments here! We don't really have any specific materials we can share at the moment but you can use our "Custom Thin-Walled Cross-Section" to do the finite strip analysis. However, as we don't currently have aluminium design module yet, you'll still have to do the actual design outside of ClearCalcs.
