Buon appetito!
    Among the North African countries, Tunisia is the smallest in terms of size. Yet its cuisine, rather than a photocopy of neighboring countries, presents various unique characteristics! First of all the presence of the spicy harissa sauce, which accompanies practically all the dishes! We will therefore discover that even when it comes to street food, it has original flavors to offer. The thing that amazed me the most, however, is its rich offer of breakfasts so abundant that you have to skip lunch! Enjoy your meal!

    Arabic coffee means traditional Tunisian coffee and has nothing to do with Turkey. Every country has its own coffee and there is no need to attribute it to another country.

      Thanks for your explanation. Can you please indicate the difference between the two types of coffee? I drank both and couldn't feel big difference. Let us know, thanks.

      @@ilgirodelmondoconandrea Mediterranean countries do not produce coffee. Coffee comes from Yemen or Ethiopia, meaning it is almost from the same source, but each country roasts and cooks it in its own way. Tunisian coffee is Tunisian coffee, even if you feel that it is similar to coffee in another country. In Tunisia, we do not say Turkish coffee because we do not know it and we did not take it from them to say that. We say Arabic coffee because in Tunisia, anything old or antique we call Arabic, and by that we mean that it is something old or traditional and not modern. By Tunisian Arabic coffee, we mean coffee that is cooked in a traditional pot and we do not use modern machines to cook it. The pot in which the coffee is cooked, which we call "Zazoua", is found in all Arab countries and in Turkey as well, and this is the traditional way of cooking coffee in all countries. When someone else hears you say Turkish coffee, they think that Tunisians imitate the Turks in cooking coffee, and this is not a good impression. Every country in North Africa or the Middle East has its own characteristics and we do not resemble each other because each country has its own heritage. Tunisia is the first country in the world known for drinking coffee together. Sidi Belhassen Chadli was born in 1196 AD and died in 1258 AD. This man is the one who founded the communal drinking of coffee and it was imitated after that in various other countries. I noticed that many Europeans believe that all North African and Middle Eastern countries are similar and sometimes they say about Tunisian food that it is only found in Tunisia and even the countries neighboring us do not know it and they say about this food "Middle Eastern food" and do not say "Tunisian food". Many foreigners make this mistake and it is not just you. Arab countries are not one country, each country has its own characteristics, features, heritage and history. I hope you understand what I mean. and thanks

    • @ilgirodelmondoconandrea
      @ilgirodelmondoconandrea  Месяц назад

      @TheTruth-mr3ml yes sure I understand. The reason we call it Turkish is that the coffee powder remains at the bottom of the cup. This is the main difference for us, as we filter it, so no remains are in the bottom. Anyway I have tasted all types of coffees around North Africa and Middle East. I can tell you that they are very very similar, I think its also a heritage due to the Ottoman government. Thanks a lot for your explanation, that will help other people who watch my video and want to know more. It really enriched my work. Regards from Italy!

      @@ilgirodelmondoconandrea Greetings to you also from Tunisia. By the way, I told you in the previous comment that the method of preparing this coffee has existed in Tunisia since the Hafsid state, i.e. before the existence of the Ottoman state. Bye.
