wow what a sound. you guys do a really great job. One thing that would bring it up a notch would be to showcase the drums at different tunings. I imagine even at these sizes the tuning range is capable of pulling off a be bop gig.

@@DrummersReview Don't mess it up on the SQ1's. Most people cannot get good video sound out of them. ONLY THESE GUYS : ruclips.net/video/-AMZzI8jV-U/видео.html
What a thunderous kick drum! DW seem to make really great drums, but one way or another they never really appeal to me as a whole. Thumbs up again for the great review, though
I think even if you tried to lie and say these don’t sound amazing, it would be extremely difficult. Lol. Sounds great, but would never pay that for them, I mean, come on, it is Poplar and Mahogany, one is simply paying for a name. Great looking and sounding drums like many DW sets, but like many others, just overpriced.
I know they come with a premium price tag but the quality and craftsmanship that go into these drums is unbelievable. I've owned several collectors kits over the years and they are top shelf. Truly custom built in every aspect. DW also offer there performance series that are truly remarkable as well. There is only a handful of color options but you will find they are a lot less money and made in the usa. This company offers something for every budget and I hope people will check out other offerings from DW. They truly are some of the finest drums out there.
In Germany the Ludwig and Gretsch Kits are same priced or even more expensive than DW. And also the average production quality of ludwig drums is much lower than other companies. In case of mahogany shells the japanese Canopus Neo Vintage M2 are far superior to Ludwig in Terms of Craftmanship and Quality.
So buttery, warm and open. How could you not love it? Nice opening groove.
Looks and sounds great to me.
That price though?

Loving these reviews! Aside from the content being great, the production from audio to video is top-notch.
Great review, set up kit perfectly, must get one. The snare sounds great also. What is the snare?
Anybody else having playback issues?
Fantastic review as always!!! Can you review the Meinl Foundry Reserve series that was just released?
What a beautiful kit.
Man, this kit kills...
Hi guys. Nice reviews on your channel. I hope you can review an SQ1 kit from Sonor. I'd love to be notified by the time. Thanks :)

PLEASE DO THE DW DESIGN SERIES!!!
Please review the Ludwig Classic Maple pro beat kit (13x9 16x16 24x14)
GREAT REVIEW.
What a thunderous kick drum!

Thumbs up again for the great review, though
I agree, listen to a 24x14 Ludwig classic Maple bass drum, and that's the sound!
It’s those fugly turret lugs that ruins the appeal!
Nice bass drum sound.
shit, might be the first time i've been stoked on a DW
This kit is LOUD!
For what DW charges there shouldn't be any plastic handles anywhere on their hardware.
what was your tuning for this kit? Tune bot?

More expensive than Ludwig and Gretsch....hmmmm.

I saw these in person once and yes detail and build quality is flawless.
But I must say those hideous turret lugs alone would keep me from buying any DW.
Prefer the new Ludwig mahogany kits, for that great vintage sound.
Ludwig classic Maple pro beat is better and cheaper....
#nolly whaaaat the fuck?
Gretsch and Ludwig are far better value and sound great.
Add Yamaha, Pearl and Tama to that list. I’ve always thought DWs were way overrated.

They probably have to cover all their endorsement deals..
I prefer Tama starclassic maple
Dw trying to be Ludwig
Haha the truth...
