One of the greatest of shaykhs of this era.... and the best thing I like about him, like he himself mentioned in this video, that he studies both islamic and secular sources and then present his own theory...

Maa shaa Allah shaikh yasir jazakallah kheir
I Love Sh. Yasir, he led me to Islam. If I may offer one humble correction. Temple of Solomon (Suleiman) was not one of the "7 wonders of the ancient world" if speaking about monuments written about in classical texts. They consist of: The Pyramids of Giza, The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, The Colossus of Rhodes, the Light House of Alexandria, The Statue of Zeus at Olympia, the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, The Mausoleum of Halicarnassus. While there are monuments on this list that predate the Temple of Suleiman, the temple was destroyed by the Babylonians (Nebuchadnezzar) before the list of 7 ancient wonders was compiled by Greek/Latin writers traveling the classical world. No doubt, if the Temple of Suleiman was still standing at the time of the compilation of the list, it would have been included.
Most of the Arabs were Adanani
Except in Medina they were Kahtani. Kahtani- Yemeni - Aws and Khazraj go back to Ma’rab. The people of Saba in the Quran. They were the first people to bullied a dam. The 2000-year-old damn is still in Ma’rab. The damn later collapsed and some of the people had to immigrate to Medina / Yathrib 350 years before the prophet came.
Why did they go to Yathrib ? Maybe bc the Jews already established a community there. The Jews and the Arabs benefited each other. The Jews knew about farming and land and business. The Arabs were skilled in war and taught them the language. The Jews spoke Hebrew but also older than Arabic and Arabic Teacher The Jews spoke Hebrew but also learned Arabic and Arab culture. The Aws formed an alliance with Banu Nader and Banu Kurayda. They became more wealthy. The Khazraj formed an alliance with the Banu Kunayka. Their civil war lasted for 500 years and the Jews each supported and financed their Arab tribes. There were about 6000 Jews in Yathrib and they had power land and lived in outer Yathrib. The Arabs were about 15,000. The total population of Medina was about 20,000.
The new spread that the prophet was coming and the Aws went out every day in the morning until the sun rose up too high and it was very hot in the noon time. They went back home and they came back out after the Sunset. One day they left home after the sun went up and the prophet sws came and saw no one. A Jew who was picking a tree on the outskirts saw him and said “O Arabs our king has come.”
The Ansar got dressed up and ran out. They wore their war clothes and there were about 500 men around the prophet sws. The women and children went to the roofs to see him. Thousand of people and they all believed in him. There was a sense of a new era had begun.
Allah said that the Jews were waiting for a new prophet to come to them but from their own tribes. This is one reason why historians believe they migrated to Yathrib, a land full of dates.
