I don't always comment on how-to/lifestyle videos, and there's a plethora of YT personalities with generic advice. I've been following your content for some time and must say they are top-notch. Keep up the good work, Sir!
I wish people these days worried more about cuffing and not cuffing. Sadly most guys these days were bleached out, ripped skinny jeans and a tank top lol.
I'm in the no cuffs camp, but that's more because it's not something I've specifically thought to much about...it just looks clean being cuff-less, which I like. But now I'm going to actually start thinking this though a bit more. Btw, I like the mini history lesson you gave with this (not to mention in other vids)... it's really something that's interesting to me.
The problem with cuffed trousers is that they tend to collect dust, sand and a bit of the trouser's fabric ends up in those cuffs or folds at the bottom of the trousers as the trousers get older. This is most notable in parts of the world with some dusty roads like East Africa where am from. Nice presentation.👍✌️
how about jeans, doing that flip/cuff thing? I have a pair that are a bit too long, should I cuff them or alter them? I thought you'd talk about that here
Hey man. Love the videos. I have to disagree with you on one thing, which is the beauty of it all. I personally think that cuffs give a more refined and purposeful and formal look to things. I do not interpret them as casual.
Hi Antonio, I prefer the non cuffed look... Theres nothing wrong with the cuffed look though... Some men can pull it off and look great but others not so much, I love your content and what you do for us men out there who are looking to improve our style... You also have a way of presenting and that you are open about bending the rules which I think is key to stand out from the crowd
Cuffing trousers is nothing more than a recurring trend. When it's trendy, you can still see plenty of non-cuffed trousers. But when it's not, it almost ceases to exist. Nothing wrong with following a subtle trend if it doesn't damage your style, but if you really like feeling different in a room full of guys with uncuffed formal trousers, wear an Ali-G tracksuit, and tell us how this works for you.
hi i have some questions , i hope i'm not late for getting anwsers :( 1- what kind of belts should i wear with white sneakers ? i mean it can be white belt :/ 2-could you write an article about umbrellas ? i mean can they be stylish ? what type of them ? how to match them with outfit ?
If I am not mistaken I believe that Allen Flusser said that all men's suit pants should be cuffed. I don't regard cuffed pants to be a more casual effect, of course with the exception of tuxedo pants which should never be cuffed.
I'll go with cuffs anytime. I think they add character to the pants and yourself. I'm around 6'2" and thin and have been told cuffed pants look good on me.
Hey Anotonio. Thanks for the videos again. I liked this video alot becauss ive been meaning to get another suit but, for me i would get a straight look. But, if i can get the cuffed look to look good I'd probably do it. Again thanks for the videos.
I realy like the Shirt Antonio is wearing. Does anyone know the Brand ? Btw. I follow you for quite some time now and i just want to say that your presentation Style has improved a lot
Antonio, have you seen a cuddled corduroy pants? I have a corduroy that requires hemming and after your video, I'm thinking about cuffing them. Your thoughts?
I think going without cuffs gives a more timeless look, but going with cuffs can often radiate youth in a person, which I'm sure will be useful to many viewers of this video
Jeans should NEVER be cuffed on men, but trousers can go either way. The difference is that cuffed pants are also pleated, and add more room in the thigh. I have always worn cuffed trousers, even with suits, but recently bought my first pairs of flat-front pants (without cuffs). I'm still not sure I like the fit around the thigh (a bit snug for me, but they look ok on the outside).
Hey Antonio, What would you recommend for a shorter guy with more of an athletic build, that is broad shoulders/skinny waste? My intuition would suggest cuffs since I think you'd end up with an unbalanced silouette if you were to go for no-cuffs. What are your thoughts? I'm about 5"9. Thanks!
I add cuffs very often, not always though. It's because I am 14 and 5 foot 6 hence when I can 6 feet, I can let the cuffs down instead of buying new ones
Good content. What about height of cuff? I saw one pair of pants with what looked like a two inch high cuff. What abour rolling up jeans for cuffs? Foldover or just fold once and see the hemmed bottom of the jean?
i think cuffs are more elegant, i like the drape, i wear a break,my break is between a medium and a full, except in formal wear, a hem seems more casual to me
Hi antonio! Thank you for a very informative video! I've liked cuffing my trousers in the past, but I find it makes my legs shorter. Like you said, uncuffed trousers looks more streamlined which is good for people with bupky legs like me. Anyway, that's just my two cents. Thanks again! Great video!
I would have to go for an uncuffed trousers. I'm only 5'7" and need to help my leg length out as much as possible. So even though it's more formal, the cuffs have to go. Also the cuffs make me look like a kid. What do you think Antonio?
hey i want to know about the beard sir ..it is good or bad in profesional life style i m leader in mlm industry so please tell me . having a beard is good or not
ankit panwar beards are back! As long as you keep it clean and trimmed, and shave around the edges, beards are perfectly acceptable in a professional environment.
I've been told cuffs can collect dirt, but I avoid cuffs because with some cuts I'll catch the heel of my shoe in the other cuff! No cuffs let me be less of a klutz and protects me from tripping, falling, etc.
No doubt, cuffed trousers/jeans look good on some people - and more power to the others who can pull off that look - but I personally prefer uncuffed trousers/jeans.
I guess I never actually thought about it too much, but I lean towards the streamlined look. What really bugs me is seeing pants that aren't even in the neighborhood of proper length.
That Edward VII again! They say, he invented unbuttoning your suit at the bottom, which is how you wear a suit nowadays. And now cuffs. Wow. A lot comes from that guy.
I've found that with a 29 inch inseam, it's better not to cuff. The last pair that cuffed did not lay down right. Turns out that the hem of the pants was so far up, the legs began to taper and the cuff did not fit with the rest of the leg because of this. Granted this was a pair off the rack, I have yet to get custom pants with a cuff.

I like the look of cuffs and better for hot weather too.
I have a preference for cuffs but pretty much all the pants in the stock pictures shown had them too long for my taste. 1 or 3/4th inch seems balanced to me.
Antonio, can you please do a video showing how to look rugged/masculine in the summer. I'm 18 and want to dress like a man, not a boy/not follow the trends. I know how to dress in winter this way (been watching your videos ;) ) but not sure how to in summer. Cheers!
I m in shirt side but i have very Long leg and short torso. Do i want A Little cuff to proportions. Especially in jeans. I like slight or no break in jeans and without cuff jeans with no break look weired.
As a Bishop who wears many suits and even though I'm only 5'6" I prefer cuffs as long as they are tailored right. I personally think they add character and style
I consider cuffs make the pants, especially the suit pants, look more formal or classic than pants with no cuffs. I wear both, but generally prefer cuffs. . . .
I tried cuffing my dress pants and they still ended rolling down once. I think it's better to get pants tailored or even go a pant size when it comes to the length up so they won't be dragging near your shoes. I wear jeans and don't feel right cuffing them. I wear 36 x 30 and the jeans come near my ankle but not covering the shoe completely. Now if i get 36 x 32, the jeans will be near the bottom of the shoe.
Depends on the pants. Heavier winter suit pants yes cuffs. Light sleek summer suits no cuff. Never roll cuffs on my chinos, looks bad on a guy. Femine to show ankles in my opinion. Ladies can do it though.
Bespoke tailors will always advise the pleat-less pant should receive no cuffs, single-pleated pants are versatile, and two pleats should always have cuffs
Real Men Real Style for jeans I wear 36x36 and can get Wranglers at Walmart for under $20. For slacks and such I shop at SteinMart. Shoes (size 16) always online.

Real Men Real Style in general no cuffs for me, unless I really want to grab some attention 😀.
I'm 6'4" and mostly have no cuffs.
Real Men Real Style No cuffs
Real Men Real Style whatever James Bond is wearing is what I'll wear
You know, the historical significance of style is one of my favorite parts of your videos, I'm glad you include it. Good stuff!
Glad someone mentioned it --- Thanks Michael :)
Whos in the cuff team?
Me.
I like cuffs myself, of course I'm 6'4" so I am a bit on the tall side! I also like that they make me stand out a little.
It's amazing that 6 years later your videos are still relevant and enjoyable to watch.
I don't always comment on how-to/lifestyle videos, and there's a plethora of YT personalities with generic advice. I've been following your content for some time and must say they are top-notch. Keep up the good work, Sir!
Big thank you! Appreciate you for being here.
Hey Antonio, sorry i missed four of your videos because I've been busy in school and stuff, but now I'm free so i wanted to tell you great video!
No problem Samer. Thanks for being here!
I wish people these days worried more about cuffing and not cuffing.
Sadly most guys these days were bleached out, ripped skinny jeans and a tank top lol.
Good point.
@Personal Power u got a nice video style!
I'm in the no cuffs camp, but that's more because it's not something I've specifically thought to much about...it just looks clean being cuff-less, which I like. But now I'm going to actually start thinking this though a bit more.

Jeremy Stig thanks!
Jeremy Stig well said.. i agree
Jeremy Stig pretty much this. also, if you have a nice pair of boots, you can cuff your jeans.
That's for another video.
I wear both! Even being on the shorter side I just go for a smaller cuff. It really depends on the trousers and I prefer little to no break.
Hey man. Love the videos. I have to disagree with you on one thing, which is the beauty of it all. I personally think that cuffs give a more refined and purposeful and formal look to things. I do not interpret them as casual.

hi i have some questions , i hope i'm not late for getting anwsers :(
1- what kind of belts should i wear with white sneakers ? i mean it can be white belt :/
2-could you write an article about umbrellas ? i mean can they be stylish ? what type of them ? how to match them with outfit ?
If I am not mistaken I believe that Allen Flusser said that all men's suit pants should be cuffed. I don't regard cuffed pants to be a more casual effect, of course with the exception of tuxedo pants which should never be cuffed.
You are truly an inspiration Antonio!
Thank you sir! This made my day.
I liked the cuffs but I prefer to go without cuffs .....
What are your thoughts about cuffed jeans(denims) and non cuffed ..?🤔
I prefer folds on my denims and Chinos. dress slacks and trousers go straight in my case.
what do you think about this?
I like the option to go with cuffs or no cuffs, depending on my mood. Great explanatory video!
Welcome bruced47!
Thanks, short and sweet Video.and very useful.
Thanks Farid!
Cuffs help you show off your shoes and gives you a more stylish silhouette.
I'll go with cuffs anytime. I think they add character to the pants and yourself. I'm around 6'2" and thin and have been told cuffed pants look good on me.
Absolutely - it flatters your body type.
Hey Anotonio. Thanks for the videos again. I liked this video alot becauss ive been meaning to get another suit but, for me i would get a straight look. But, if i can get the cuffed look to look good I'd probably do it. Again thanks for the videos.
Sounds good! Let me know which style you decide on.
f0xmcl0ud
when I had a my suite tailor made, I had pants made with and without cuffs. also, the cuffed pants had a single pleat, the uncuffed do not.
I prefer the cuff because it just adds that really good protection, especially if I get mud or dirt on it.
Hey Antonio thats a good video... For me i would keep the cuff for jeans, for trousers i prefer uncuffed.
Thanks Nitin!
Thanks for it. Great knowledge you give me.
I like cuffs, because i can adjust the pants pretty easily without tailor, and they look hella good!
I think going without cuffs gives a more timeless look, but going with cuffs can often radiate youth in a person, which I'm sure will be useful to many viewers of this video
I'm a fan of cuffs!
Sir, what type of dress is there to wear slim body? Can you make a video please?
amaaing video antonia keep it up brother
Hi Antonio. It's straight trousers for me. I'm on the short side, but apart from that I think they look a lot more serious...
Jeans should NEVER be cuffed on men, but trousers can go either way. The difference is that cuffed pants are also pleated, and add more room in the thigh. I have always worn cuffed trousers, even with suits, but recently bought my first pairs of flat-front pants (without cuffs). I like the cuff look ... I agree it's unique. ... But I notice that even in formal Wear as long as it's not too much of a cuff looks great too
I go for the double cuff always, or I pinroll some Walmart jeans with high top converse or some warfield and grand boots
I cuff my jeans for work. They look great.
Sounds like I should create another video for cuffing jeans or not.
Do you and Alpha (Aron) decide for same time of uploading videos ? It becomes difficult for us to decide which one to see first !
YogiLogic Aaron
I am tall but I like my pants uncuffed. great video!
Good content. What about height of cuff? I saw one pair of pants with what looked like a two inch high cuff. What abour rolling up jeans for cuffs? Foldover or just fold once and see the hemmed bottom of the jean?

i think cuffs are more elegant, i like the drape, i wear a break,my break is between a medium and a full, except in formal wear, a hem seems more casual to me
Wouldn't cuff dress pants however I do cuff jeans as a taller guy with long legs. As Antonio said, it gives me a more balanced appearance
Sounds like I should create another video for cuffing jeans :)
Real Men Real Style I agree, would love to see one on the subject
Hi antonio! Thank you for a very informative video! I've liked cuffing my trousers in the past, but I find it makes my legs shorter. Like you said, uncuffed trousers looks more streamlined which is good for people with bupky legs like me. Anyway, that's just my two cents. Thanks again! Great video!

Amazing information

Thank you Antonio, good points
I love it cuffed
It looks organized
I've been told cuffs can collect dirt, but I avoid cuffs because with some cuts I'll catch the heel of my shoe in the other cuff! No cuffs let me be less of a klutz and protects me from tripping, falling, etc.
Leo Sigman ive seen that happen. It can collect dirt and dust. You can always flip them out and clean in there though.
I know what you mean!
That Edward VII again! They say, he invented unbuttoning your suit at the bottom, which is how you wear a suit nowadays. And now cuffs. Wow. A lot comes from that guy.
Hey Antonio? Can you make video about teens?
12-18
Will appreciate anything you make my man.
I've found that with a 29 inch inseam, it's better not to cuff. The last pair that cuffed did not lay down right. Turns out that the hem of the pants was so far up, the legs began to taper and the cuff did not fit with the rest of the leg because of this.

Can you make a video for teenagers?that how to look good.😀
Have you seen this? www.realmenrealstyle.com/dress-sharp-tips-young-men/
Real Men Real Style thnx now i got it
Dressing well has no age limit. The rules apply to everyone, regardless of age.
great video as usual. I am a tall guy and I like my pants without cuffs too
Thanks!
You are welcome-my favorite videos are the ones you have about shoes and boots. I wish you would do a video on men's socks too.
I have a preference for cuffs but pretty much all the pants in the stock pictures shown had them too long for my taste. 1 or 3/4th inch seems balanced to me.
My Rule For Dress Pants If They Come With A Suit Jacket No Cuff But If They Don't Come With A Suit Jacket Cuffed
I Go By This Rule Every Time
*CUFF THE JEANS, CUFF THE BITCHES*
-frugal aesthetics
Antonio, can you please do a video showing how to look rugged/masculine in the summer. I'm 18 and want to dress like a man, not a boy/not follow the trends. I know how to dress in winter this way (been watching your videos ;) ) but not sure how to in summer. Cheers!
J Dub Latent tendencies
Here you go: www.realmenrealstyle.com/dress-more-mature/
with dress/ wool pants always cuff for sure, with chinos it can vary, but overall cuffs rule...really
Personally, I prefer the no-cuff trousers. I feel it has a cleaner look and also for the reason that it’s easier to hem.
I m in shirt side but i have very Long leg and short torso. Do i want A Little cuff to proportions. Especially in jeans. I like slight or no break in jeans and without cuff jeans with no break look weired.
hey antonio, how about making a new video about hats?
greetings from germany
I thought I already filmed it? Here you go: www.realmenrealstyle.com/9-classic-hat-styles/
Imagine:pants with french cuffs
Darth Vader I have a type of French cuff pants
As a Bishop who wears many suits and even though I'm only 5'6" I prefer cuffs as long as they are tailored right. I personally think they add character and style
I consider cuffs make the pants, especially the suit pants, look more formal or classic than pants with no cuffs. I wear both, but generally prefer cuffs. . . .
Got it!
Am down with the no cuffed look.😀👍
I personally like both, but in my opinion cuffs are for casual look only.
Antonio i am 5'10 but i think i look shorter . Can u just help me that which break would make my legs look longer ? ☺
I prefer cuffed trousers. It's a good idea to clean the wells from time to time as they tend to collect dust and debris.
Antonio! What happened to that WATCH GAME YOU PLAYED ??
M Aeraf - We notified the winners already :)
Real Men Real Style haha ok!
I like to wear cuffs from time to time. Good video (as usual)
Is there a guideline as to how big the cuff should be?
I'm a shorter guy and the non-cuff pants work for me!
Are you and alpha m related lol you guys are both Italian and im subbed to both
Where did you get that idea? :)
Real Men Real Style well your name is Antonio my bad
Cuffs on every pant except formal, jeans, or hunting pants. Suits, chinos, and slacks all are cuffed.
Ryan seacrest fashion brands has ads in front of all of the men's fashion channels. Smart move. Oftentimes the ads are not relevant.
Nothing is right or wrong in fashion as long as you feel confident in your outfit.
Without Cuffs, absolutely;)
Yes.
I prefer my pants to rest more snug over my shoes so no cuff. It also keeps your ankles warmer in cooler weather.
I love cuffs, but not in jeans the material is so different than in casual pants.
Uncuffed antonio! More cleaner look! Finer too
Depends on the pants. Heavier winter suit pants yes cuffs. Light sleek summer suits no cuff. Never roll cuffs on my chinos, looks bad on a guy. Femine to show ankles in my opinion. Ladies can do it though.
Can you make video on pinroll
In the queue!
I better prefer no cuff Antonio because i think it looks sexy than adding cuffs. What about you?
No that we discussed cuffed trousers, lets discuss pleats. I'm a fan of no cuffs, but I like pleats.
Bespoke tailors will always advise the pleat-less pant should receive no cuffs, single-pleated pants are versatile, and two pleats should always have cuffs
I still like two pleats but will not do cuffs.
cuffer here...great vid
Thanks for watching! Which point is your favorite?
I like that you listed the advantages of both styles...personally, I prefer the advantages of the cuff style
I'm 6'7" tall. I can't find pants long enough to cuff if I wanted to.
Hey Scott - Where do you usually shop?
Real Men Real Style for jeans I wear 36x36 and can get Wranglers at Walmart for under $20. For slacks and such I shop at SteinMart. Shoes (size 16) always online.
Well joggers are a good option if you want cuffed pants for cheap might look like a young kid but it's ok
I'm a 1,8m (6') guy very slim guy, what would be the best for me?
LuraxThunder Either one. You're the sort of build that let's you dress for whatever body type you'd like.
Antonio u r real influencer
i am short 5.3 i cuff my trousers as they are 1 , 2 inch longer so i make a small cuff
