Sometimes people need reaching out to and this guy clearly needed it, just to talk and shoot the shit. It's actually an interesting result of a social experiment gone wrong but in a right way.
I think in an ‘experiment’ there’s no wrong way for it to go, whatever response as the result of the experiment is valid and this is definitely a cool outlier to corny jokes
This clip starts out as an innocent joke and turns into what could be a David Mamet play. The dialogue turns and twists into meta layers of dissecting itself, to slowly becoming an epic description of two men bonding without realizing the value of their awkward meeting. This is how life trolls all of us. ;)
the fast forwarded part about Tibetan people in China wearing cowboy-esque hats is true, and very interesting for me to witness when I visited those places this summer (I'm from Texas) - check out my photos from that area on my blog! charliemcrae.com/blog
And what's interesting is, such people don't even care about sales and being the next sensation . . . they just want to express themselves and connect with like -minded people.

A lot of older people have hilarious mannerisms and quite frankly could not care less that what they say might be offensive,, politically incorrect, or too direct. They have lived long enough to learn not to give a shit what people think. However, in a lot of cases, they get offended when younger people do/say similar things and if a younger individual has an "I don't give a shit" attitude, they're defiant and disrespectful, in their eyes. I don't know, they're just ironic and ramble on about things and often times just say hilarious things. I'm not saying all of that is relevant to this man, I just mean older people in general.

I would love to talk to this man! I love people who carry so many personal stories with them. It's just so exhilarating to hear about everything they've experienced. I will definitely buy this man's book!

I don't think he was awkward but he's just out of this "generation". Andrew expects people to go on their way and just do what they have to do without interacting with "strangers" but seeing this interaction has made me realize that we, humans, really need to sometimes just stop and interact with each other. you can see andrew getting uncomfortable (although hes almost always awkward) because hes not used to talking for so long. you should've been more respectful, mindful, and compassionate

yea man, people now a days dont care for interaction with others, its very rare to meet a person who would enjoy holding a real conversation with another.
When he was talking at the end about coming back from china and how it was such a headache, it really mind boggled me since this red-blooded American confessed just how complicated life here in America. This makes me realize how much we take ALOT of stuff for granted. I actually can't wait to go back to my thirdworld hometown and take a break from this complicatedness. I hope everyone is also able to experience this, that the world just a simple place, no need for luxuries.

I love how every now and then you just fall into an interesting person that's willing to make conversation out of a silly encounter. Keep uploading these (like the smart punch-in-face girl too) if not the main channel then this one. It's a cool social experiment in itself.

At the same time, he mighta learned something from this, sure. But he DID keep the convo up. BTW I'm Chinese, and this dude's better at it than me.
This guy is who we should praise and respect. Not people like Kanye West and other stupid rappers. He's seen the world and created a million memories. I hope to meet plenty of people like this in my life as their stories would be amazing. Respect.

i think if he met with andrew today, the conversation would be different. it's sad that so much awkwardness has been built into our society, that prevents us from having a real conversation and a real connection with people.
