Vampire Blood is stupendous! Before going to bed at night, I spritz it, and it helps me fall asleep. I purchased backups. Money well spent!
The packaging last year was so much better. I'll forever be sad I missed out on Wicked Vanilla Woods.

Although the packaging for Enchanted Candy Potion is adorable, the fragrance's medicinal overtones backed me out.

Oh funny, my mind instantly went to Beauty and the Beast when I saw the clock candle holder! I have to get my hands on that one! Not sure if I will be getting any of the Halloween scents this year or not, I will have to smell in store first for sure. Great review as always!

I purchased Vampire Blood AND Red Cherry Merlot since they were very similar. I’ve worn them for about 8 hours. Vampire Blood has disappeared off my skin. Red Cherry Merlot I can still smell very faintly.

Makin It Happen with Mary said that Everlasting Magic is like Sugared Cherry Crisp without the crust note. I definitely agree that it shares the cherry-scented oil with that fragrance. They say “berries,” but I get cherry. I don’t know if you have Sugared Cherry Crisp to compare. It was out several years ago for fall, but hasn’t come back. I actually get an undertone of a sweet cherry-tobacco scent from Everlasting Magic. It’s subtle, and it’s feminine, not masculine, but my nose picks it up.

Yes I didn’t think about that comp initially as I hadn’t smelled Sugared Cherry Crisp in a while, but I did compare them after my review and I do see a similarity. However SCC is more gourmand to me as I get a lot of the graham cracker note, so I don’t think they’re exact dupes, but in the same family. 🙂
I'm glad I skipped Midnight Spell based on your reviews. Everlasting Magic is such an universal smell. Even my mom likes it! They need to make a Ghoul Friend spray!
I want Ghoul Friend body care too. 😫 I picked up the mini shimmer mist but it’s not enough!

The packaging on Everlasting Magic and Midnight Spell aren't attractive to me either. It looks dusty like something old from a haunted house, although I guess it's supposed to so in that case they did a good job. I would have preferred something more dark and beautiful. Anyway, love the reviews and comparisons are always so helpful.

Which of these is strongest with lasting power
I feel like they were all just ok. None of them struck me as particularly strong. Midnight Spell and Everlasting Magic seemed a bit stronger than Vampire Blood.
Thanks for the review. I have the three new scents and I dont know if I like Vampire Blood more or Everlasting Magic. They both smell really good and lasted a while on me. I do not like Midnight Spell. It seems to lean masculine to me. I'm going to hold on to it to see if i change my mind, but right now, its a no for me.

I got Wicked Vanilla Woods this month and it has the same scent with one of the Gatsby Body Spray (Men) that's why I believe it's unisex. I'm planning to get Enchanted Candy Potion next month. And if these three are available in my country soon, I might buy them all.

Love this review, as always, and definitely interested in trying out Everlasting Magic! I'm sorry to ask a question, but I was curious: do you by chance have a prediction for when the next collection of flankers for the main line might show up? We've only had one this year: splash. Around this time last year, I think we got Untamed, which incidentally might be my favorite collection from VS ever. But seems like we might be due for a new flanker collection soon? Just wanted to know your thoughts. ❤️
There’s usually a flanker collection in fall and winter. There should be at least one more fall collection, so we’ll have to see if that’s it. 😬🤞🏼I think it should drop in August if so.
@claireinbloom Thank you so much! I was actually a little confused, because I thought we would have gotten two seasonal flanker lines already this year, one for spring and one for summer. I remember being surprised they jumped right into summer with no spring line. Definitely looking forward to the fall flanker line. If we get anything remotely similar to Untamed, I will be ecstatic. LOL! Thank you again! 💝
Also, the ghost pocketbac holder is literally so cute and glam. I’m too scared to use it though incase some of the gems fall off

I hate this year’s packaging! Also not a huge fan of creepy crawlers lol. Vampire blood isn’t as bad because of the rose but last years Halloween scents were so cute and mystical. I missed out on ECP but I have a backup of my WVW 💜
What Halloween scents came out last year?
I love midnight spell and whatnot but I'm so very sad that it seems like a lot of the body care items and candles are just...not as scented? It was hard for me to actually smell the scents, and with how much everything has gone up there it's hard to feel like it might be worth the price. 😢
Some of them are definitely light. 😕 I try to layer with the lotion to help it a bit.
@claireinbloom when I was in the shop just yesterday, I tried layering them and it still wasn't really giving me much of anything. I feel like they've dialed back how much Fragrance is in them.
@@marillmusik I'm also noticing the diminished quality when I compare the new 2023 body care to my older items. I get excited over the new, but I'm disappointed when I actually try it. I'm limiting myself to 1 or 2 new fragrances a season & wait for a deal.
@cmi7439 definitely! I always buy using coupons or when things are on sale.
If it continues I'm probably going to have to ask someone if there's an email I can write to or something, just because I feel like it's a bit problematic that the prices of all their products has gone up like $3 in the last year alone and now they quality seems to be going downhill.
I don't really like any of the fragrances this round. I don't like any of the Fall fragrances either. And because the packaging/label is poor, I'll just wait for Fall 2 and 3. I might end up getting Vampire Blood just to have it but I doubt that. Hoping for better in the coming weeks.

The floral and musk are all I pick up in Everlasting Magic and whatever was left over they bottled for Midnight Spell. lol

I love Wicked Vanilla Woods! It’s one of my all-time favorite B&BW scents. I was disappointed that it didn’t come back this year, too. 😞
The original note of Petrifying Plum used to be on old candle as "Transylvanian Plum" woud have been better they kept this name to stick to the old school vampire theme
Vampire blood is amazing but what's keeping me from buying it is it doesn't last long on my skin. 5 minutes tops.
