How to Install a Maytag® Wall Oven

Once you've selected a Maytag® wall oven for your home, it's time to plan for delivery and installation. Professional installation options are available at checkout on Maytag.com.
For self-installation, you'll need two people. Your first step is to turn off electrical power supply. If you're replacing an old oven, remove the doors, then lift the oven from the cabinet and disconnect electrical wiring. Once you've removed the oven and disconnected electrical wiring, find the junction box to access electrical wiring. With help from a second person, tilt oven onto its back and attach the feet. Once you've attached the feet and it's time to reconnect the electrical wiring. Maytag® tip: For gas ovens make sure to wrap the thread seal around the gas valve, and test the gas connection. Complete the installation by lifting the oven into its final spot and secure the oven with the screws provided.
