I really think all albums that are released should have instrumental and vocal-only versions released alongside (although it probably wouldn't be worth it logistically). Sometimes songs with lyrics have such good instrumentals that I just want to hear the instrumentals. And then sometimes I just want to hear the vocals.
On the cloud of unknowing My world seems open Every satellite up here is watching But I was here from the very start Trying to find a way to your heart All the days are forgetting They've gone out with the tide Lost at sea somewhere, waiting Like setting suns at the rodeo Trying to find someone you'll never know Oh, sinking love.. On the cloud of unknowing Every satellite up here is watching Waiting to see what the morning brings May bring sunshine on its wings
Marija Viņķele Jesus Christ. Really? The TINIEST bit of research will turn up countless stories about this album's concept of a PLASTIC BEACH. where all the garbage in the ocean congeals into one place. Not even being snobbish here, even common sense should mingle that sound and the album title in your mind. BTW it was recorded at Veolia Environmental's Pitsea landfill. I read that on the LP's liner notes. Common sense tells me it's a rubbish dump in England.
I think all the official DD instrumentals are on youtube. I was able to find them, just now, by searching. If you think any are missing let me know. There is no DGLIH instrumental available anywhere, as it was not on the promo CD.
I have had the instrumental version of the DD album, for years now, but I didn't get them through your youtube, I downloaded them form a blogspot site somewhere, i think. Did you put them up for download at some point or did whoever made the download just rip the songs for your channel?
I was the person who released the s/t instrumentals and the PB instrumentals. And, I think I bought the first copy of the official DD Instrumentals promo that was available on ebay. However as I recall, I already had the DD instrumentals from some leak before that. So, while I'd like to claim credit for the DD ones I don't think I was the first to release those.

Trying to find someone you'll never know
Oh, sinking love..
On the cloud of unknowing

interesting, it sounds like there's construction/truck noises in the beginning, what did they mean by this?

@@tinlegtical4311 Dude was probably being rhetorical when he asked "what did they mean by this?"
😊
2J, would you be so kind to upload DD instrumentals after this? The ones on RUclips seem to be fan made
He was the one who originally ripped them. Any real instrumentals you find on RUclips are because of 2J!
