2:22 your scanner has no mode hd pro, cause your scan model not so good. If you turn on HDPRO will be better.

    Hey, Good morning
Could you please tell me how can I measure the roughness of a surface by using Nextengine 3D Scanner? I have the exact same instrument in my lab but I couldn't measure the roughness of my sample surface. I'm guessing I have to look for another software for evaluating surface roughness. If you could help me in this case, that would be highly appreaciated.

I have a problem. I take my scans, and put them on my cnc machine to run as Gcode. The form I use is STL, before I import it into my Aspire program. The Aspire program then creates the NGC's from it's CRv3D format. Does anyone know why it runs so slowly on the CNC machine, with all the same settings as our regular hand produced files? It can take literally 10 hours to complete in some cases, and the product is no different in size. To put that in perspective. Hand produced files usually never take more than an hour to complete. Even after bit changes. Which we aren't even getting to with these scan based projects. If it helps, We have noticed it seems to go up and down on the Z axis a lot during operation, which slows it significantly. Any information on this?
