If u agree with me that Burna boy is a Legend hit me
He is a legend in progress..you have to be doing something for many years in order to be a legend. You must be a trend setter for the current generation and the one that follows as well with a consistent amount of years with longevity
You have to be extremely famous in a particular trend , then when you gone or stop doing what you use to do that's how you become a legend. Fela, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson are the perfect examples of legends
he is a legend , love his music

Exactly my feeling. The saxophone is magical
BishopSax the best
apologies for the misrepresentation, Bishop Sax plays the Sax in Burna's Band The Outsiders. But the guys blowing the sax in this video I would like to think they are part of the band in Fela's shrine. Probably Femi Kuti's band guys. They are ace though

Lol 😆 where are you from? This kind of music 🎶 is called Afro bit
Segun Babatunde Yeah Afro beats. I know them lol. That’s what I mostly listen to. I’m from Zimbabwe. I meant I literally don’t understand what he’s saying. I don’t speak his language.😹✨
Who is here everyday 🥹
Me
This song is timeless especially if you're Nigerian. I pray things do get better
I'm familiar with the company Dangote and have visited Nigeria however i cannot speak Yoruba etc but I'm learning. Could someone please tell me what Burna is saying about Dangote and what's the main theme or message in the song please? Thank you.
@@sarahelias7270 Dangote is the richest man in Africa, he owns the Dangote Group. “But he’s still a hustler”
Him saying, “Dangote Dangote, Dangote still Dey find money, who I be wey i no go find money, I no send anybody, me I go hustle gan gan”.
Basically saying if we can see how ruthless the richest man in Africa is about his money and politics, who are we the lay men not to find money but all means necessary. Nigerians have a hustle and struggle mentality, because of the bad government, they need to adapt to the worst case scenarios. You’d see various moments in the video where people are doing weird things for money, stealing in the bus, online fraud, even the last boy carrying dollars didn’t get it through legal means definitely if you compare the stacks he had with where he stays. Generally the song is just highlighting the everyday struggles of a Nigerian and their hustle to survive.
I love that Burna Boy is addressing the issues we face in general. Everybody dey find money, no be our fault, na the system wey don spoil the mindset of an average Nigerian. We need more of this 🔥🔥🔥🔥
You sited well

I celebrate you my breda!
In this whole generation of so called afrobeats artist Burna is the closest to fela
ben neah that’s what’s up for real
Falz nah?
When burna boy grandfather be fela manager those days
how about falz?
Afrobeat (Fela) & Afrobeats (what the kids are doing today) are actually 2 totally different genres
I am Dominican and can’t stop listening to his music since I discovered him 😅🙏🏼🔥 Burna boy is another level and all vibes.
Aliko Dangote is my inspiration, he's one of the reasons I'm moving Africa to help assist with the development of our continent. Hopefully I can do honor by his legacy.

Billionaires are not inspirations. They hoard money that millions of people could use to better their lives. Listen to the last stanza of the song - Dangote and all these other super rich people "finding money" by the billions means us poor people are left wondering "why me no go find money?" Billionaires are not inspirations, bloody selfish bastards.
I think you missed the real meaning of this song. Dangote is part of the problem not an aspiration. If he was giving back billions, he would be an inspiration. Rather, he's happy to look down from his high top down on the poor and struggling.

Burna Boy you really bringing the heat, I put on alot of African Americans to your music, keep going brother! 1 love.
What a tune from a talented young man. God, I love my country so much that I can never wish for a better country , other than Nigeria. Bad leaders yes, corruption yes. regardless all of the aforementioned, Nigeria is a great country with beautiful people with style and swag that you can never find anywhere else on planet earth. God, bless Nigeria and rid her of bad leaders . Amen

Burna simply better than Fela. Like it or not.

This is what Afrobeats is meant to be.
Emotive, Revolutionary and Relatable!
Great one Burna Boy!
I feel you, especially when this kind of song drops.
But in my opinion Afrobeat has 3 styles and we should appreciate all...
-- Party styles (e.g. Rotate by Wande Cole)
-- Romance styles (e.g. a lot of Banky W. songs)
-- Culture styles (e.g. this song, Ojuelegba)
Luxisa Lux you gat it👍🏾
@@NdukaObinnaAzubuike idk but I'm pretty sure Banky W sings R&B and Wande Coal does Afro-pop

The hook of the song, which is sang in Nigerian pidgin basically says that Dangote as rich as he is, is still working to get more money, so why shouldn't I.

When you fully understand this song, you will be in tears.
In ogba I have had to sell cray fish n stock fish for my grandma so we could make some money, I worked in an Indian hair factory in acme road for 500naira per day it was jus able to meet my tp but I still showed up daily, I walked around the streets selling insurance, I had to do all type of things me n my friends. We all married now in different countries. I was jus promoted to head of my department at a tech firm. He wasn’t lacking recognition before.
it's simply because he's become more authentic. Less dancehall and raeggae influence and lots more afrobeats.
A classic and timeless depiction of the struggles of the real average Nigeria. Notice that even burna does not pretend to be actually poor by not appearing in the video. The Push, the hustle, the complex irony: lagos traffic, the bus preacher, the drug marketer, the phone theft, the groping on the bus, the shrine saying drugs are not allowed. Complex Ironies, Struggles. Even the richest black man is still hustling and pushing his products. iT is just to beautiful to describe in words. real work of art.
At the end
