In this stories episode i will tell story of one of the most known soviet era minibuses, that have left significant mark in real world history, but even in video games (Half Life 2 and episodes).

What became one of my favorite cars thanks to Half Life 2.
I remember researching the cars that were in the game and the roles they played in the real world.
I heard RAF 2203s are quite rare these days but I dream of getting one since they are very interesting (and have colorful paint jobs!!)
Though I don't know if any actually exist in America, if not theres the option of importing but that would cost a lot and also paperwork..
If I had the skills, patience, and materials I would literally build a new one from scratch..one can dream though..
I could get a diecast model though, easy to find some on Ebay, though I wish stores would have soviet diecasts, (though I did find and buy a diecast ZIL 130! Also found and bought a VW Santana which is a Brazilian VW car which also isnt easy to find in stores)
Anyways that's all I have to say about the RAF 2203..

Building one from scratch would be more expensive.
Closest countries from US, where you still can find RAF minibus is Cuba.
Also there may be some abandoned cars in South America.
Not long ago Riga motor museum got one of the oldest RAF minibuses from Chile.
So... nothing is impossible. :)

Truth to be told, i recently bought a 22031 an old ambulance. Needs bit of work but she´ll be driving soon enough like my 24-01 :)

As a latvian we also had electrical rafs alot of the soviet car factorys were experimanting with electrical cars but yeah thats all
