It's another flip phone 'Berry! Aaron reviews the BlackBerry Style, Sprint's newest BlackBerry. It offers a 624 MHz processor, two displays, a full QWERTY keyboard, and a 5-megapixel camera. It's a nice form factor, but in a world of webOS, Windows Phone 7, iOS, and Android, can it hold its own? Part 1 of 2.

I realize that flip phones are kinda a thing of the past but honestly I really like how BB is still giving consumers the options. The first open faced BB I had I got a chip in the screen withing two weeks. Its not the most innovative design but it seems practical which is where BB often suceeds

This was probably my dream blackberry. When this phone came out I had a Blackberry Curve 8530 and always hoped virgin mobile would get the phone as boost did but that was never to be! Miss how unique phones could be back in the day!

I'm not a flip phone person but for people that do still like that type of phone this would be a great combo, the design is sorta growing on me too.

thanks for the vid I was just using mine and the trachpad was acting up and thought I got a bad phone or something but it turned out all i had to do was just set the level i had it on thanks for that.

The year 2010, we had a variety of OSes to choose from.. WindowsPhone, iOS, BlackBerryOS, Android & the beloved Symbian. I miss those variety, all that's left now is Android & iOS and the distant WindowsPhone. Only if consumers would have stick to BlackBerryOS and Symbian, we still would have had that variety of OSes to choose from, and a great competition of OSes bring out the Best from everyone.

@kurt23407 The Pre 2 is virtually identical to the original including screen size and keyboard. Quality might be a little better but I don't think it is. It's a shame though. Good news is that Palm is coming out with like 5 new devices next year so that should be exciting!

This is not true. That statement does not make sense. The Network itself is seperate from the phone.

Good review, ok phone. I just think RIM is going to lose in this war against Windows Phone 7, Android, and iOS, because even though BlackBerries are popular smartphones, those other platforms are quickly gaining popularity.

@jhood1919 No actually this phone for boost is 200 but 250 dollars. and the money per month all depends on how long you go with boost. 5 dollar shrinkage for every 6 months on your phone bill. Right now i only pay 35 dollars for unlimited anything you can think of on a phone.
