This made me really appreciate Jessis kindness. When all the other girls said no, you can tell she didn't want to either but she volunteered just because she didn't want to make the other girl feel bad. It shows Jessis actually really sweet and considerate, especially out of the whole group too!

This is honestly my feel good show. I watch clips when I'm depressed and decided to just re-watch the whole season since I never finished (I watched up until Jessi got "married" and noticed Tiffany wasn't really in a lot of footage, looked up why, then got upset and didn't watch episodes after that).
My hope is that one day, they'll revitalize this show with the original cast so that Tiffany's dream can come true. She worked so hard on everyone else's. 💜💜💜

Sweet Cake i think the better explanation would be “just because anyone else’s life stops doesn’t necessarily mean her life should stop as well, she has to move on and live her life as it should be.” When you say she can’t stop her activities and visit her family “when something happens” would imply how insensitive a person she is. Most humans stops and rush to their family when something happens don’t you think?
And they didn’t even translated it right in the original captions. I bet koreans we’re confused
Commenting here years after because I noticed we have different interpretations to what she said. That quote she mentioned, “My life doesn’t stop because yours does” is a line always said to her (in Korean ofc non-verbatim) because of the nature of her job. If for example, she experiences personal difficulties and challenges, she still has to push through with her work because (again) the life of the people around her, from staffs, directors, and such does not stop just because Tif is experiencing a personal problem, that they too still have to push through with their job, regardless of what’s happening with Fany’s personal life.

ahh, tiffany seemed so awkward in the beginning, but I'm happy she got more comfortable! jessi is amazing, such a cutie pie! the older sisters are so experienced, truly pros, the made me laugh so hard! hyorin seems so lovely, she and older sisters are all new to me but i think they will be very dear to me very soon, hyorin is so honest, its amazing to see! i will watch this series so fast!

I really love this show. Not only do the girls have amazing chemistry and are extremely funny, I think this show has a really nice theme. First, it's been years since they've last had an all female variety show. Secondly, it's about helping each other achieve dreams they couldn't do because they were busy trying to survive in the entertainment industry. The following episodes made me tear up and made me feel proud with them just seeing them achieve those dreams. It's really inspirational. This show has so much potential. I'm glad that KBS decided to sub this show because many more people need to watch this show. Hwaiting Sister's Slam Dunk!
First all-female variety show since Infinite Girls ended in November 2013 I think. At least on the public channels. So happy that the show has started to become popular.
Hayoung Jo i agree! There is so much girl love and i find that so refreshing since the media is always pitting(?) women against each other. Not only that, i find the members incredibly genuine and sincere and their chemistry with each other is really amazing. The idea of them helping each other achieving their dreams is also inspiring!
Hayoung Jo I'm continuing the Season 2 Episodes because I love this show so much. Although, Sister's Slamdunk changed their theme from achieving dreams to idol project in the current state, I'm still watching because there are several members whom I feel related to. Thus, Sook and Jinkyung are still there.

I agree with you but I don't think the plastic part is very nice. Jessi got a nose job and I don't think that made her a fake person. Someone choosing to get plastic surgery does not make them a fake person. They may just be insecure and want to be prettier and we have no right to judge as it is their body. I hope you do will understand that not every person who has done plastic surgery is fake.

Sorry but you can never beat this season cast, we saw their raw feelings and dreams, the concept was real and connected the audience with the members, not just a show that wants to be popular (season 2).
I love this cast because they are like one big fam and bonded for around 8 months cuz of all the dreams. I feel bad that tiffany had to go

Honestly you can’t blame the season 2 cast, you can see that they also really bonded in that show as a family like season1 cast because even after YEARS of season 2 the cast members make guest appearances on the shows of the other cast members, so the cast of season 2 were just as genuine as season 1. The ones I blame is the production team for taking away the root of the show which is fulfilling the dreams of women stars who has to let go of their dreams to be where they are. The production team became greedy after how big the first song became and changed the whole concept of the show. I hope they go back to the original concept of they make season 3.
i love shows that focuses on women entertainers!! female friendship makes me so happy. back in 09/10 i was obsessed with invincible youth s1. i love shows like fam outing and running man too but it's always just 1 or 2 girls then like 6 guys...

i started watching season 2 before season 1, and i can understand why everyone thinks this season is so much better! the cast members are way funnier and entertaining!
This season is way more funnier but season 2 will make you cry a lot. I just hope there’s a season 3

I agree. I loved s2 also but s1's cast is unbeatable. I know Kim Sook said that she feels closer to s2's cast in an episode of s2, but we all know she'd put Ra Miran (the real MVP, lets be real here) above everyone else if she really had to choose.

Watching this (again!!!) in 2023 and still sad that Tiffany had to leave... This is one of the most entertaining shows I've watched and the sisters were really amazing!
While other people want Tiffany out, I am angry how Tiffany gets out for a reason that can be solved. But well, we can't do anything about it if Korean viewers really insist. I still remember how much Tiffany helps Unnies to success even though she couldn't be around a lot of times.
I still prefer to not remove her and talk it through. She meant well anyway.

this show was really good and later i believed that this show would be one of lead kbs variety show in future... the best one after 1N2D, till unfortunately they kicked Tiffany out the show, then the show's rating dropped really low
..... it's PD's mistake~ they chose antis/haters' (that only commented ignorantly about tiffany, spread lies, exaggeration, didn't watch the show) over Tiffany(and her big fanbase in Korea as loyal viewers of the show)
