A few days back I bricked my Poco F1 after flashing a rom, had no access to either fastboot mode or to recovery mode. Poco F1 was only booting into EDL mode. I finally did manage to unbrick and revive the device, after paying for EDL mode service. However, on my video about Poco F1 Brick and Restore, a lot of people commented about ways to bypass EDL authorized account using a firehose or by using Qualcomm qfil. In this video we will tell you why you cannot bypass EDL authorized account for free on the Poco F1.

Before buying Poco X2 i had redmi note 5 pro software broke due to due to some motherboard issues and there is no way fix it and many users are facing this issue and nobody talks about it.

Hi. Note the date. Today is 6th July 2020. 9:15 when I solved my problem.
I solved this problem. This is only why I comment. Just hope it helps.
How?
Maybe it was sheer luck. because I am also not a technician by trade but someone who finds ways to do things.
What I did?
1. Obviously, I tried "Mi Flash 2020 (No need auth)" and many others.
I can't even solve the problem of Mi Flash 2020 (No need auth) where it says Could not find "xmf_bat_indonesia.exe.config" so cannot use Mi Flash 2020 (No need auth)
2. After all possible ways, I tried QFIL.
3. I select the Flat build, load XML rawprogram4.xml and patch4.xml
4. Click download and then when it opens a Command window where it reach upto 31.
5. I closed the command window (THIS IS IMPORTANT). A bit risky. But what have you got to lose?
6. I disconnect the phone. (Very risky)
7. I reconnect the battery and turned on the power button.
8. It says something like, image load did not complete, have to delete, etc, etc. Very long message with very small fonts.
9. And in the middle of the screen, there is a prompt "Delete all files" not like anything I've seen before.
10. I clicked that and the phone began to delete and restarts even before completing.
11. I waited 3 minutes and then unplug the battery and reconnect the phone on EDL mode. (Do not close QFIL)
12. I connect the phone on EDL mode again and load XML file rawprogram0.xml and patch4.xml
13. This time, I waited the command window to close itself.
14. It only takes 1 minute or less and the command window closes itself.
Voila, my phone is back!
Disclaimer:
I'm not sure this will work so I didn't even record my actions. And of course you can never blame me for bricking your phone.
I also am not sure it will be the same if I repeat the procedure, even if I remember it correctly. (But I just comment on this just as soon as I finished with my phone).
The second XML files are rawprogram0.xml and patch0.xml

QFIL is not new at all I'll comment tomorrow the version or when I have the time to turn on my desktop again.

I didn't went to service center so far as i know what their reply would be. I tried at some shops in Delhi. They refused to flash a software. I then landed up at a shop which claimed that its probably an issue where EMMC is faulty and ofcourse needs flashing. However nothing works and PocoF1 is dead.
I am planning to visit service center today finally. Will share if i find something on same.

Good service center will flash in edl ..Mine was a same situation and mi center near me fixed it ..it only costs 200 INR

I got this error when i try to flash the rom. I think it means problem because of locked bootloader,

I did successfully flash a developer rom in recovery mode with mi flash pro, from the rom proposed to download via that Application, i did not unlock anything, but the flash was made in recovery mode, if it would be able to modify the ROM so to unlock (firehose file for recovery ROM?). maybe it could work?

Service centre make fool of people who have basic knowledge. They will tell you that motherboard is fried or something and this needs to be replaced which would cost more than the mobile's current price.

don't try there are a few which claims to be of poco f1/mi 8 . The seller is either scamming or doesn't know poco has lcd.
i asked developers and they said it wouldn't work because they need special drivers and stuff.
I think you could have used older MIUI 9 or 10 Fastboot Roms !

did you used custo kernel with oc refresh rate
If on custom ROM set, go to Love Display, set all RGB values to 90. If on miui, you'll need root. Download "color changer free [root]", in a custom layout set RGB to 226, 230, 230, apply it.

I've been having the same problem with my poco, however, when I flash it with MiFlash, I get the error message "Couldn't flash, you need to disable find my device" in red instead of "your account is unauthorized", what does this mean?

bro go to color scheme settings and set color to auto and cool... restart your device and retention is gone
i use GhostScreen 1.0.1.4 apk. Just enable the apk, lock the apk in recent apps so the apps will always on and always enable it every after reboot.

if you have fastboot and twrp you not hard-bricked

My poco f1 is stuck in edl mode, I came to this conclusion when I saw the Qualcomm port 9008 on my laptop's when I connect my phone.
I tried taking it to service centre but the technician there tells me that the motherboard has been fried and I have to replace it costing me a huge amount of ₹10,000. Now what should I believe, is my phone stuck in edl mode or the motherboard is dead? And one more thing is that if the motherboard is fried then why is the poco being detected by my laptop as Qualcomm port 9008?
9008 is edl mode..
try some other service center ..tell them to try edl mode as you can see it as 9008 qcom on your computer

I want your suggestion..
my poco just randomly turned off(while I was pulling up and down the status bar) and did'nt turn on no matter what i did...it was not taking charge as well while it was off, after some time it turned on and worked normally..... then i put it on charge and after a few minutes it turned off again and showed no sign of life, I gave it to a local technician and he could not fix it (he did not try the EDL method). Can you please suggest what actually happened to it all of a sudden and how can i possibly get it back. I never even tried to root it or install TWRP. I am so doomed without it. Any kind of suggestion would be appreciated.

It won't work , there is no ways to make it work on rooted phones. I tried all the ways buddy 😂

yeah im using custom firehose without paying authorized account sometimes renting mi account get scam ... some scammer using instagram like contact this blah blah on Instagram .... trustworthy how many times get scam pay first before work then they blocked
