In Software, security and updates, the Pixel is much superior. As a senior dev I've tested NP1/NP2 and Pixel 6/8 extensively. Also, the cameras, haptics, speakers and HDR colour calibration is superior on pixels.

At 53k i would easily go with iqoo 12/ s23 or even iPhone 14.... pixel is destroying it's legacy.
Don't go for iphone 14 I have it battery average gaming is not good for such small screen and those ugly notch😢 Dynamic islamd looks way more modern with multitasking capability and camera sucks iqoo 12 takes better photos anyday but video is still the best specially HDR video.iOS is hit or miss sometimes i miss android flexibility sometimes i appreciate smoothest animations and stability😂

Agreed, unless Google's ML/AI strategy, and long term support are important to you, the camera is no longer the overarching value-add that it once was for markets outside of the US.
I was holding onto pixel 4a and waiting for this release, even though I knew they will be overpriced, I could have got this in pre order for 35k with exchange but for 128gb and tensor processor it just didn't feel worth, I just went ahead and bought s23 256gb for 49.5k which seemed a better deal with extra features like dex and better hardware. May be when they price drop next year this may be a good deal

The network connectivity troubleshotting is present in stock android. It is present for my POCO F5 running the Evolution X custom ROM. Do check if it is there for pixel 8 and 8 pro

This phone should not be more than 30 k . Those who r buying it for 7 years of update do not understand, how its gonna hold up in few years. I am pretty sure that after few major updates its gonna have terrible battery life. Better to buy a phone half the price and buy another one after 4 years. You will have a phone which will much better than this.

That’s the reason I always iPhone and iOS . They are standard and butter smooth and most powerful phone in the world unlike this android which has 1000 phones to select to and each has its own version
Only the pixel 6 a made sense buying when it was sold at 25 k it was a really good phone at that price and also the best camera in that segment , i dont feel any changes in the pixel 8 a tp cost more than 50 k its ridiculous pricing

Pixel has different fan base. It has brand value like Apple & Samesung. But those thick chins & vezels could've been minimal & could've given 8 gen1 instead of G3 & 25 watt fast charging.

It's absolutely a no-go @ 53k. Just the software experience does not matter when you are paying that much. The phone should balance the other specs out. Reduce the software support to 4+5 years, and bump other worthy specs. Phones like the IQOO 12, though not perfect, are quite balanced, provide faster charging with the charger in the box, almost flagship cameras, and better display. Come on Google, this wasn't expected from you!!
I have been using my Pixel 7A with no screen guard since purchasing it, only a case occasionally, and believe me, I don’t have a single scratch on my display. My S23 Ultra is scuffed up like hell. I don’t mind it, I hate the feel of screen protectors. Ershad is right!

Pixel 8A reproduces images with less details. Ok since I have not tested the device I am gonna agree with you for just one second. But when it comes to Samsung and its images you are suspiciously mute about the details it produces because s23 I have tested and it produces least details among all flagship phones so must be s23 fe also but in your promotional video you said it produces excellent images sharp images detailed images pixel 8A seriously needs a huge price cut to justify its existence but why be so partial to one brand and so much honest to another? A pro tip from a Pixel fan boy who owns Pixel 7 Pro over a year....DON"T BUY PIXEL in INDIA...it's a shitty phone for Indian market, my phone died after exactly 1 month of warranty period, it's Tensor Processor made by Samsung is the culprit...Samsung makes worst chips.. my processor got short circuted and mother board died.. the service centre(which is 3rd party) said they can't repair it because they don't have the parts... Pixel devices are only made for US market, nowhere else
