For me the X100 is the winner for its superio selfie camera, video recording and color science. Zooming isn't that important in most scenarios. I'd take better overall cameras than just one good area. I'm glad that even though X100 can't do 4k on front, the 1080p looks good to me.
We need a comparison between the x100 pro and the regular x100 !

Cameras are so close. So i would choose iqoo just because of the flat display and less price.
One thing i will miss in iqoo is cinematic video and zeiss filters
No there is no option of cinematic video mode and also not have any zesis filter but even that the camera has also lot of interesting modes

I agree Ershad that iqoo 12's telephoto is sharper right now and when you looks for a protrait x100 does have higher the contrast level on the shadow areas to avoid softness and noise level. 📸

I am using iqoo 12 since 15 days and the camera performance acording to me is very very good compare to s22 plus my previous phone.
Not a big fan of curved displays so bought iqoo 12 and i m happy with its performance

Hi ershad,nice video and it's a true testament to how far iqoo has come as a company from just a gaming oriented phone with meh software to now proper optimised cameras design and ui too for the most part,as for me personally camera wise i would go with x100 cuz again the hardware is the samw but i feel like over time vivo will defo improve and knowing vivos history of how camera centric rhey are i feel like they are going to pull ahead in the camera department eventually by the time of release,in a month or two...
I had a small request too was and was wondering if you will do a full comparison of x100 and iqoo cuz they are pretty closely priced and its going to be interesting to see how dimensity and snapdragon compare and the thermals battery etc,and ofc the cameras in a few weeks and just the overall price to value game is going to be pretty interesting to see

Hi Ershad. I see lot of phones coming with big camera bump which makes phones wobble when kept on the back. Don't the camera screen get scratches and affect camera performance. Please also cover this point for all your mobiles reviews. This might seems to be silly but I feel it is important.

I bought iqoo 12 just within a month of use I have sam s 23ultra comparatively unbelievably iqoo 12 is excellent as Vivo x100 scores at areas of front camera and curved style display design is perspective iqoo 12 is sure winner.as in vivo x100 About digital lens tune 100mm, 35mm these just asthatic or nostalgic so no use just pro mode recal output matters ,and all above points are my observation. Overall, the iQOO 12 is better in most scenarios. The X100 seems to be doing better in low light, but only marginaly. In all other scenarios, I found the iQOO 12 to be better, making it the winner. But again, may be software updates to the X100 could bring it at par with the iQOO 12.

I liked the primary camera of the iqoo. The picture looked contrasty with great dynamic range.
Maybe the sony sensor in x100 has better micro details, but the bigger sensor in iqoo sure has its advantages.

The fact that the phone known for optics ( Vivo ) is being compared to performance phones with a messed up camera system ( earlier iqoo) brings iqoo to sunshine!

As far as I know, you are the only Indian reviewer who talks about the accurate representation of darker skin tone in the pictures (despite the fact that majority of Indians have different shade of dark skin). please continue this and try to give more details of camera performance with respect to darker skin tones

Simplest suggestion -- If you have a budget of 50k , just get Iqoo, and if you are comfortable with 65k price tag, just get Vivo..

HansTechTalk has compared xiaomi 14 versus Vivo x100.
xiaomi 14 will come under 50000 with Snapdragon 8 gen 3 and has actually overall better camera than Vivo x100 so if we can wait till end of February xiaomi 14 is very better choice because it has very nice phone size also very perfect and Handy 6.3 inch which is very nice.

people commenting x100 clearly forgot that iQoo 12 is 50k while x100 is 63k , only highlight the video mentions in the end is the wideangle and selfie camera else main camera is same in both and Telephoto best in IQoo, for that price tag and Snapdragon processor I would go with IQoo12 as it is giving major pros for its price

U see if u want great cameras and good service with fast updates u should go with vivo.

If u want a smoother OS with a more known branding then OnePlus.
Performance will be the same 8 gen 3 and 9300.
When u compare the OS of both in the past. yes Oxygen OS is more polished than Funtouch os.
But with the recent update i can say they closed the gap, i would say
If Oxygen OS is 100%, Funtouch OS is like 90%.
one plus, because it 8gen3, smooth ui, good cameras, a slightly more good camera dosent affect your overall exprience
Oneplus 12, overall a much better rounded phone. You will enjoy oxygen os much more than funtouch os. Camera will be on par or mostly 10-15% worse than the vivo(mostly night mode), things which you and me can’t observe at first glance unless we pixel peep.
Its all the same in every category and even in price. So its upto you which one do you prefer
1. Vivo has better camera
2.vivo has ip68
3. Op has longer software support and better ui
4. Op has usb3.2
Aside these differences they are matching in every category although vivo would be slightly cheaper
X100 is best
But the price difference is 10000 rupees, which is a big difference
