Clarence Clemons was a founding member of Bruce's band, "The E Street Band", playing sax with them from 1972 through his death in 2011. Clarence's nephew Jake Clemons joined in 2012, and still plays sax with Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band.
The group is his called The E Street Band. They’ve been together over 50 years. Clarence was on sax and one of Bruce’s closest friends. Sad he passed young. Bruce took it hard. The girl on stage is from Friends, played Monica Geller.
Clarence Clemons(the sax player) was part of the band since forever. He was one of Bruce’s greatest friends, when Clarence died, Bruce all but quit his band. Now, Clarence’s son plays sax for the band. And the girl dancing on stage is Courtney Cox, from Friends.
I met Clarence before. Briefly but still met him. Very nice. I used to work at a coliseum where Bruce was playing. Met him backstage while everyone was working hard to get everything ready
Yes, that is Clarence Clemons the best Saxophone player in the business. He and Clarence were together for the duration. Her name is Courtney Cox and this was her first appearance anywhere!
The saxophone player is Clarence Clemons, the big man. The band is the E street band and played with Bruce for years, and still does. Clarence passed away some years ago. I got to see him live, in Mill Valley in Northern California, his mother lived in the area, and sometimes he would show up at popular music joint Sweetwater, what a treat.
The E Street band was always had the same people. When Clarence, the sax player, passed away it took a while for Bruce to recover from that. They not only were band mates they were great friends!!
The dance called the "Carlton" by Alfonso on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air was partly taken from the dance with Courtney Cox and Bruce in this video. You can definitely see the similarities. Such a great tune. RIP Clarence Clemons - Amazing Sax player!! Clarence has been with the E Street Band from the beginning. Bruce and the E Street Band have been together for a long time. Bruce gets a lot of the credit (and so deserved) but, he will be the first to tell you his band is an integral part of his music.
Vintage Springsteen performing Rosalita live in Phoenix(1976) is a classic...Lyrics not so easy to understand, but it captures the mood of Bruce Juice!!
LOVE Clarence Clemons on sax. Please react to Clarence & Jackson Browne doing "You're A Friend of Mine". RIP Clarence ! Thanks for the music & memories.
For some reason I've always loved songs about songwriters' struggles to get their inspiration back. There's an Australian singer Missy Higgins and her song "Set Me On Fire" is also about that. Her lyrics are great, one standout from it is "And the bones that once moved my fingers over keys are protesting in fist on my knees". Such a good way to describe the songwriting block!
Gotta check out The River (preferably live in 1980) or I'm on Fire next. His big hit Born in the USA is good too (but you need to listen to the lyrics of it).
The girl he pulled out of the audience is Courtney Cox. She was one of the 6 main characters on the TV show "Friends". She also starred in the "Scream" movies.
'Thunder Road' next please. Bruce has had the same band pretty much forever Shon. The E Street Band. The girl at the end, I think this was Courtney Cox's big break into show buissness getting chosen to dance with Bruce by Brian De Palma the Director. Then she was cast in Friends and the rest is History.
Bruce is backed by the E Street Band. Sax player Clarence Clemons is one of the band members. FYI, the video is shot to look like a concert, but it's not. The girl is Courtney Cox AKA Monica from Friends.
the young lady is Courtney Cox from Friends tv show and the Scream franchise. When she was very young and before she messed up her beauty with cosmetic surgery.
I’m more of a casual fan of Bruce, but wouldn’t consider him one of my favorites. With that said, his concert (along with Stevie Wonder’s) were probably the best I’ve ever seen live, and I’ve seen a lot of legendary artists live. His band is incredible whether you know the songs or not.
Like Obama said when he gave him a medal (forgot what it was called) I might be the president, but he is the boss. Bruce along with Pete Seeger and many other singers sang at the Capitol steps at Obama's inauguration "This Land is your Land, this Land is my Land".
"Directed by Brian De Palma, the video was shot at the Saint Paul Civic Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota, on June 28 and 29, 1984. The first night was a pure video shoot, the second was on the opening date of the Born in the U.S.A. Tour. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performed the song twice during that show to allow De Palma to get all the footage he needed. The video is a straight performance video, with Springsteen not playing a guitar, allowing him to invite a young woman from the audience, performed by Courteney Cox, to dance along with him on the stage at the end."
Did it twice? Guess that helps explain how thay got those clear closeups of Cox to cut in. Always wonder how the camerman and Bruce picked the same girl unless it was just by the seat number, she was a plant, or there were other closeups not used
It might sound a little strange to recommend a Christmas song, but you should check out the live version of Santa Claus Is Coming to Town. It's a great one to showcase the energy of the band. You can't help but smile 😁

That’s Courtney cox before she was discovered. She starred in friends and many movies years after this. This was not a faked video it actually happened that he pulled her out of the audience.
This video is pretty much responsible for launching Courtney Cox's career. Following this she did an arc playing Alex Keaton's girlfriend on "Family Ties" and landed a main role on the short-lived "Misfits of Science," but it was "Friends" that made her a household name.
Well, maybe I won't! From the "Live 1975-85" album: Thunder Road; Back Streets; Darkness on the Edge of Town; The River; Racin' In the Streets; Independence Day!
This song introduced many people (myself included) to Bruce Springsteen, but it’s really not authentic Bruce. Take away the choreographed dance and give him an acoustic guitar and you’ve got Bruce. “The River” is my all-time favorite of his. Much slower, much more emotional, brilliant lyrics.
Just to say: Dancing in the Dark is fun . . .and to me, it's one of his LEAST important or artistic songs. He's got DOZENS of those others. I'll let others name them.
The girl is Courteney Cox, mainly known for Friends!
And the "Scream" movies
Clarence Clemons was a founding member of Bruce's band, "The E Street Band", playing sax with them from 1972 through his death in 2011. Clarence's nephew Jake Clemons joined in 2012, and still plays sax with Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band.
OMG, I loved Clarence and his sax. RIP
Clarence was always with Bruce and they were best friends and devoted to the band. Clarence is the MAN

I'm on fire is my favorite song by Bruce
And Fire pointer sisters... hes really good at 🔥
"I'm On Fire"
Nobody talks about Cox dressing and looking like Springsteen

This video was FIRE back in the MTV Days!! Great song!
It’s the E Street Band, man! It’s (almost) always his band with him.
The Boss! 😍
Great song from Bruce used to get me in the mood for a good night out in my youth.
That is Monica from Friends!

My hometown and Glory Days by Bruce Springsteen are great songs ❤❤❤
That girl he pulled up was Courtney Cox before she played Monica on Friends. ^_^
Born in the USA is another gem
Bruce was finally back in the day 😘🥰
I was just becoming a teenager when this came out & this was HUGE!!!!
Most singers have their own band. Those guys are his band.
Bruce and Clarence were the best of friends. They had a close bond all through the years till the day Clarence died.
East Street Band is synonymous with Bruce❤
come on baby the laughs on me....love it
One of my generation's themes
Thunder Road is one of my favorite Bruce songs.
The girl is Courtney Cox- Monica from Friends and front e Scream Movies.
I love witnessing someone listening & being moved by Bruce! He’s so important to me, & when others see what I do, it’s beautiful
And check out his song/album ‘the Rising’, which he performed at Obama’s inauguration
Perfect time to listen to Bruce's 'Girls in their Summer Clothes'.
This is my favorite Springsteen song. It's so fun to listen to.

Courtney Cox from Friends is the gal that went on stage.
Bruce called Clarence “ the Big Man” little Steven ( guitar player) used to be the TV series “The Sopranos”
He also had his own series “Lilyhammer “ on Netflix. It is the first series I ever watched on Netflix.
Fun fact. Bruce’s drummer was Max Weinberg. Max Weinberg was the band leader for the Conan O’Brien show in Conan’s earlier days.
The girl he pulled out of the audience is Courtney Cox. She was one of the 6 main characters on the TV show "Friends". She also starred in the "Scream" movies.
Thanks!
This is my favorite Springsteen song!
Bruce's group was The E Street Band and Clarence Clemons was a member of the band.
Love his energy!
the song philadelphia is really good from the movie of the same name with tom hanks,a good movie btw.
"This guns for hire" ❣️❣️❣️
Oh, Shon! You always make me smile!
Courtney Cox, Monica from Friends

One of the guitarist in the E Street Band the guy always wearing a bandana starred in The Sopranos. He played Silvio who was Tony's number 2 guy.

Bruce is the Boss. 💯😎

Jungleland live at hyde park from bruce. One of the best songs of all time
6:44 Courteney Cox. You know her as 'Monica' from the tv show 'Friends'
This was before she got famous.

Bruce is a group. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.

RIP "The Big Man" Clarence.

Listen to "Hungry Hearts." The song mentions Baltimore, my hometown.
Rosalita, you got to do!!!
Like Obama said when he gave him a medal (forgot what it was called) I might be the president, but he is the boss. Bruce along with Pete Seeger and many other singers sang at the Capitol steps at Obama's inauguration "This Land is your Land, this Land is my Land".

Clarence Clemmons sax Courtney Cox is the girl

Another song writers block that bevame a hit was for Chicago. 25 or 6 to Four. As in 3:34 or 3:35 am and I'm still up trying to write a song
Clarence The Big Man Clemons. All are part of Bruce's band The E Street Band.
Brilliant Disguise
❤
You should check out "Tenth Avenue Freeze Out" (LIVE '75-'85)
Clarence Clemons was a long time member of The E-Street Band.
Clarence Clemons was a Goat! RIP❤
Clarence, the big guy

Courtney Cox!
Try "Born In The USA" by Bruce.
Next, please react to Glory Days.
Bruce is not a group...but Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street band is
Well, maybe I won't! From the "Live 1975-85" album: Thunder Road; Back Streets; Darkness on the Edge of Town; The River; Racin' In the Streets; Independence Day!
Listen to Amy McDonalds version, it´s worth a try.
Courteney Cox, the answer is yes!
1984 most people I knew were listening to Van Halen and Led Zeppelin. I don’t live on the East Coast.
Clarence is/was Bruce's best friend.
It’s always been “Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band.”
The same members for over 40 years……same band members
The whole Born to Run album is fantastic. Love this song too, but not one of best of his....that's saying something 😊
