You give very heart felt reactions, I can see it on your face. This song touches my heart the same way. It hits you at your core and leaves you speechless. Makes you want to listen to it again and again, to feel that heart felt feeling over and over!
His lyrics, his voice, his instruments, they are all so perfect. Legend. Period. You got to love him more when you find out he took a timeout in his career to raise a family if I remember correctly. But he didn't stop writing during that time. Mrs. Ward.
You literally can't go wrong with anything by our much beloved Bob Seger. You seemed to get a sense of peace with this song.He is one that you can actually see his songs play out in your mind
Bob Seger ...he had no bad songs. Each song is incredible and touches you deeply. He’s simply a true artist. My dad played all his songs just like CCR and Bad Company. I’m just reminiscing and immensely enjoying them all, I definitely miss my dad who I use to fall asleep 😴 to his guitar picking. Thanks so much for this awesome Reaction. Fire Lake, Strut and Mainstreet. 🙇🏻♀️❤️🎤🎶🎵🔥🎸😢☝🏽😉🙏🏽
I love this song I just got a picture sleeve for my 45❤️Bob Segar is the bomb. I posted it on my Facebook page and people didn’t like it and I don’t care ❤️ This is my favorite too
Bob Seger "You'll Accomp’ny me", “Her Strut”, “Ramblin' Gamblin' Man”, and “Come to Papa” are some tunes worth checking out when you come back around to Bob, my favorite one being “You’ll Accomp’ny Me”
I hope you won't stop there. There are still so many great songs to hear. Kathmandu, Against the Wind, Still the Same, Shakedown, Hollywood Nights, You'll Accomp'ny Me, Her Strut, Rock n Roll Never Forgets, C'est La Vie, and of course the fire songs: Fire Lake, The Fire Inside, and The Fire Down Below. I've been loving your Bob Seger reactions. Hoping for more soon.
Over the last couple months I've been watching you and I am a subscriber. I find you to be so genuine and kind you are turning into being such a wonderful man and person. Whoever raised you should be so proud! This is just an FYI, I got married as a teenager and my husband was going to Ohio State University. He introduced me to Bob Seger because Bob was just starting out at the Agora on High Street at Ohio State University. He was phenomenal and very very popular by the time my husband graduated Bob was way on his way to the Stars. I have loved everything he has put out not only because of his beautiful voice so soulful, but the lyrics that he puts in place go straight to the heart. Thanks for taking me back to those great times and to this day my husband and I both listen 2 Bob. For my birthday, a couple years ago I went to his concert his voice didn't change but his professionalism was the epitome up a great performer he hasn't changed he's still the best. Thank you again for bringing back good memories.
I was left speechless from 1968 - 1995. We had very little to say, cuz we were all too busy LISTENING TO and FEELING EVERYTHING. Music was not just a soundtrack to our lives ... it was THE MAIN EVENT.
I used to dance to this song with the love of my life. I remember how we would howl when he said, "O, blame it on midnight." What glory-filled days those were. I'm so glad to have lived with decade after decade of excellent music. It's getting harder to find, but I still seek new music that brings joy to my heart. I love watching you enjoy those same songs for the first time!
All the Segers songs are like this. Days When the Rain Would come is another good one that really isn’t one of his hits. But a beautiful song. I can tell you are a very sensitive soul. Bob Seger has always been so under rated. He is simply one of the best out there, and actually was my very favorite until I watch Bohemian Rhapsody and got into Freddie Mercury. But both are such huge talents and both have incredible voices.
This song was written by Rodney Crowell - if you like this song give a listen to Leaving Louisiana In The Broad Daylight or Ain't Living Long Like This . Rodney is an American Treasure, so many great songs. I Walk The Line Revisited, 40 Winters, The Obscenity Prayer, The Houston Kid.........
One Day Lady You’ll Accompany Me, Trying to Live My Life Without You, Rocking Roll Never Forgets, Nine Tonight, I wore this tape out back in the day. Nine Tonight Live album! Also I love the song ‘Understanding’ Check them all out JB!!
This song was recorded by 3 different artists in a 3 year period. In 1981 it was recorded by Rodney Crowell (who wrote the song), then the most famous version by Bob Seger in 1982 (#2 hit), and then in 1983 it was recorded by Tanya Tucker.
I thank you SO much for reacting to the 80s artists. Power Ballads started there and Bob Seger is my absolute favorite artist!!! First song I ever heard was Shame on the Moon.. Love these too: Night Moves, Little Victories, Coming Home. Bought the cassette tapes, then the CDs.
Don't stop with Bob Seger please. "rambliin gamblin man","travelin man/beautiful loser","fire lake","Betty Lou's getting out tonight","famous final scene" and plenty more timelss classics by them ☮️
I bet I can tempt you into listening to one more of his song. This one has a story behind it. He was very blessed to have written this song after the accident he had. Bob talks about how he almost got killed playing around on a 3-wheeler on the beach. In the live version of this song. Which I don't recommend because the sound quality. He's real animated about the first two lines of this song. Which is. "Who's going to ride that chrome three wheeler.. Who's going to make that first mistake. Which of course. Was him. Then he can barely finish the line. Because he laughs while singing it. They have been partying a little too hard. Bob lost control of the three wheeler. Rolled it. After all was said and done. He ended up with several broken ribs. And other fractures throughout his body. I think he almost died. He ended up in the hospital with a concussion for quite a while. The song is called "Fire Lake". it'll bring back so many memories of you and your family or your friends camping at the lake and having a good time. And some of us. Having to good of a time.. I'm 49.and I love to see the reaction on your face and your emotions when you listen these songs. I react the same way to certain songs that affect me throughout my life. Oh.you're right when they said that they don't put talent like this on the radio today. God bless.

His voice is like butter! Not to mention his piano skills!
That's actually the late, great Barry Beckett. He played the piano and organ parts on the albums cut in Sheffield, Alabama.
Bob Seger. The superstar America ignored.

Bro I see the way you listen to this and I feel the same love and pain you do when you do when you hear it
Just the lyrics... he cuts to the truth with so few words and that wonderful piano backing him up. Awesome.
My first hearing this Seger tune and I'm so glad I chose to pop in! It's deep, moving and one of his smoothest vocal performances.
I loved watching you react to this. Don’t get any better than bob❤
Bob Seger’s lyrics can make me smell the summer nights in the country. Love this song. My favorite.
My favorite Seger song!!! I can listen to it over and over!

Your Bob Seger journey has just begun
Bob is a “bad” man. I started listening to him when I was 16. I’m 53 now and he still leaves me speechless.
