Love all your vids! PS: Thank you for scolding the guy who tapped on the glass. We must always remember and never forget: the zoo animals are not there for our amusement but our appreciation. Big difference!
Thank You 😁 It really upsets me when ignorant people tap on the glass or make noise to try to wake up the animals. They aren't there to do tricks, it should be a good enough experience just seeing them.
to be COMPLETELY honest i still really really LOVE you tube ALMOST as much as being a customer at the indianapolis zoo gainbridge fieldhouse circle centre mall and lucas oil stadium
This was a great zoo, I enjoyed it very much. My favorite area was the Sea, The penguin and dolphin areas were awsome. It was nice to see the orangutans up close. The Desert was fantastic and hot. I enjoyed the snakes and lizards. I was sorry missed the k-9 show due to the rain. My next zoo is a theme park and the largest zoo in Florida. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will be my next (zoo) it will be up in 3 weeks.
I loved your zoo tour I've lived in Indiana since 2008 & haven't been there yet & now I REALLY want to go & when I get my $ up to go I will be going thank you for the tour it was really enjoying except for the beginning with all the kids & loud people.
This is an awesome zoo, so much to see and do. The one thing you'll encounter at any zoo is loud people. Depending on what time of year you visit you will see school groups as well. Most are loud but well behaved and they usually move to the next area pretty quickly. Thanks for your comment ☺ hope you enjoy the zoo too.
The Indianapolis Zoo is the best zoo I’ve ever visited and I recently received a job there. I can’t wait to see the behind the scenes of such a magnificent zoo
Your efforts are valued, thank you so much! I only live an hour away, but may never again be able to visit the Indy Zoo in person. I am binge watching every video on you tube I can find. Im so sad I will never again get to visit this nice zoo in person, but yours and others videos do make me happy. I am quite ill and physically disabled both. Keep up the good work!
Thank You so much, I'm honestly humbled that you enjoyed my tour. I'm sorry to hear your not able to go in person anymore. I hope you enjoy the rest of my content.
great video, i've been to the indianapolis zoo back in 2001-ish when i was around 7 years old. i wouldn't mind going there again someday just to see for myself hwo much it has changed since i went there. also, do you ever plan to visit the toledo zoo or cincinatti zoo? i've been to both in 2003 and 2007 respectively and they are both really great, i think you will enjoy them.
Thank You, I had planned to visit both of those zoos while on my road trip. However, I got very sick and was forced to cut my trip short. I will visit both next time I'm in Ohio.
I really despise people that do something like that. They are visiting the animal's home. I will always say something to the person I see doing inappropriate things to the animals. Thanks for your comment
@@TomsRoadTrippin No problem. Also, do you ever find it hard to like zoos, I mean with some of the animals being in cages rather than actual wide enclosures? Because as much as I like them I do sometimes feel sorry at certain ones when the animals don’t have enough space. I wish most could be like the Columbus Zoo or Toronto Zoo
There have been a few zoo's I've gone to that have out of date habitats for the animals. I try to not interject too much of my own feelings. I try to remain neutral so the viewers can make up their own minds on whether to visit or not. There are several properties I refuse to visit due to the fact the animals don't have enough space. Most zoo's are working to transition away from cages to a more naturally looking habitat.
Love the walruses! The long-tailed macaque (they live in my country) enclosure is a very odd but unique choice for the coastal area, love that the Indianapolis Zoo decided to think out of the box there
The elephant exhibit just got expanded and there is now a third yard and a trail where the elephants can travel from yard to yard which is kind of same thing D.C does. There is also an elephant encounter where you can get up close and personal with them, so close you are even aloud to pet one. The only other zoo that has up close elephant counters that I know of is Pittsburgh. This new area is called Tembo Camp (Tembo means elephant in swahili)
Which zoo you like better between Indianapolis and Cincinnati zoo? Been to Cincinnati zoo and was thinking of taking my son now, but was also thinking of the Indianapolis zoo because I’ve never been to the Indianapolis zoo! Thanks for your videos... I just subscribed!!
They are both fantastic zoo's to visit. The Indianapolis Zoo has a dolphin show and the Dessert Dome is awesome. Since you've already been to the Cincinnati Zoo I'm guessing you'll love the Indianapolis Zoo.
All the lions are actually related. In the big enclosure is home to the mother and daughter. In the small enclosure there was the two brothers. There was a father, but he was killed by the female.
Thank you so much 💖 🥰 for you visiting zoo's all over the united states of america if you ever get the chance to come up to Tacoma & seattle washington for the 2 zoo's in washington the point defience Zoo & aquarium & the woodland park Zoo & the seattle aquarium in seattle Washington when this pandemic is over feel free to make the trip to make the visit up to point defience Zoo and aquarium as well as the woodland park Zoo in seattle
I am hoping to get back out West perhaps next year, as long as the whole situation is better. Thanks for all the suggestions. I am glad your enjoying my zoo and aquarium tours.
I know 😏 I have a habit of reporting myself 😃 we also have north west freak when this pandemic is over and the prices go back to normal the price per family Right now is outrageous at North West treak

Fantastic, I'm happy my video is helping you with your planning. I hope you and your grandkids have a wonderful time.

My local zoo! :D It’s fun seeing things your familiar with online.

I am looking into going to more state parks. Thank You for your support of my channel.
Last time i was here was when I was in 1st grade now im graduated and love to see a difference in what I saw as a child
The sure sign of a good zoo is when they make quality updates to the property. Nice that you had that memory from your childhood.

Yeah sometimes thinking outside of the box is a good thing, at this zoo it paid off 😁
The reason that the Macaques are in that exhibit is because it was the former Polar Bear enclosure
The elephant exhibit just got expanded and there is now a third yard and a trail where the elephants can travel from yard to yard which is kind of same thing D.C does. I have a question do you collect hats from everywhere you go?
I do, getting a hat everywhere I go has become a part of the channel. I have almost 100 different hats now 😳
Did u hear that the Indianapolis Zoo shipped their Walruses Seaworld Orlando
I'll have to go visit them at SeaWorld

Thank You for that information, I didn't know they were a family. That's a bummer the dad was killed. 😞
Did you see the African Crested porcupine
The Cape Porcupine was off habitat the day I was there. It was at the animal hospital for some tests so it wasn't available to view.
Oh man
I love the cheetahs 🐆 and lions
Yeah the big cats are awesome 😸
I don't think the dolphin dome is new. Went there as a kid and the dome was there
I thought it was new when I was there, it was just newly renovated.
I never saw the pt. 2 release
Nvrmd I saw it
OK 😊

That gator statue scared me so bad when I looked over the bridge 💀
😬 very realistic gator
Oh god I hate it when people bang or tap on the glass in zoos! Thank you for reminding people not to do that.
That seriously annoys me when people bang on the glass. Worst part is it's almost always some idiot adults doing it.
I like the Indianapolis zoo orangutans center and always support wildlife conservationist mission to save wildlife
The first lizard in second enclosure isnt a blue tongue skink it's a bearded dragon
Thanks for the correction 😊
Blue tongue skink look like a snake a little but is a lizard
If you look up at the top there's a model or something else of a collared lizard
I live in Indianapolis

I haven't heard anything, can you elaborate please?
how can they clean the animals and how is the maintenance of every structure and plants on zoos ? thanks must be an animals doctors their as well
The zoo has a full staff on premises that are trained to handle all the animals needs.
The dolphine dome isn't new it was there the first time we went in 2018
I think it was recently renovated as I was told it was new when I visited.
