Hey Jeremiah Thanks for watching. The Comal is a very short river beginning and ending all within the city limits of New Braunfels. For pure snorkeling and seeing fish, my favorite part is the branch of the river that runs behind old Schlitterbahn and the golf course. But access during the peak summer months is hard to get unless you know exactly where to get in on public property. Above the chute from Wurstfest down to the steps is a good section to just float with the current and look at tons of fish too.
Colebier Please thank you so much for the reply and do you kno if you have to have a license to fish there legally. your videos convinced me to go there this weekend
Your welcome and thanks again for watching. Yes, you will need a fishing license as the Comal is a public river. Some of the best fishing I have done is top water lures up at Landa Lake near the gazebo. Good luck!
Great video! It would be nice if all the tubers would use their trash sacs for cans. I wish they would field strip their cigarettes as well. I didn't know the can ban was going back into effect, thanks.
Yes, correct. I start the camera at The Steps above the chute and film all the way through Warneke Falls and get out at the Boy Scouts. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing this Colbier!
Hey man!
Good to hear from you.
it’s terrible how much we do not see in this water.
so glad someone is able to actually post this and make it known why the Can Ban is in effect.

Thank you for watching
What an interesting look at the part of a river you dont see. Its a shame there's so much trash though..Great video.
Thank you for the input.
I just wish people would "police" their trash... then there would be no need for such a law that had split the community.
Colebier Please i love how clear the water is in yr comal vids. out of the whole river witch is the best spot

Agree
I hate it, but the "can ban" is self-inflicted.
They should just get all the bums in Austin to go pick those cans for the change.
La mejor solución es no dejar que la gente lleve bebidas
