Didn't they do well! Good to reflect back on past finds. Amazing how well some of the finds come up after restoration, even though they may have been underwater for a long time.
Happy new year to the wendals great vid again loved seeing your finds restored Friday nights wouldn't be the same without you guys keep up the great vids
Oh m'god, this is one of my favorite WW2 Wendal videos ever, hands down. Like you all, I am drawn to the history of WWII, altho not to your level of expertise. I love to hear the historical comments on your many finds and these were sooo cool. I also found your efforts at restoration to be very interesting, loved seeing the crud come off and the piece emerge. And your room, your man cave? With the ale tap? Loved it all. I hope you do more vids like this one and maybe have a few pints during the next one! Seriously, you do a service to your wonderful country in salvaging small parts of it's history. Good on you. Pat
@@ww2wendal34 The love of shiny paint ...... jumpers covered in .... paint ..... paint covered hop up .....outbuildings all well painted, do you paint for a living?
Wow awesome finds and awesome cleanup! Guess what? Bought my wife a magnet fishing kit for Christmas...and she loves it! Will need to wait a bit to use it.... Canadian winter...
Another great video lads, its nice to see the items you have restored, excellent job. I remember the videos when you found them, keep up the good videos and finds.
Many thanks for this great video! So nice to see your favorite magnet finds after restoration! I'm very much looking forward to more videos such as this one.😀😀👍👍 A little tip along the way; if you find something made of cast iron and it's rusty, you can also put linseed oil on it using a paintbrush, after a cleanup with a steel brush. An alternative if you want to keep a "rusty and rugged look" at an metal object, instead of painting it to look "new and restored". Linseed oil gives rusted metal a quite nice look and good protection from further rust.
Hello all, what a GREAT video....you need to do more of these, love getting to see everything cleaned up and the flashback footage as well. Excellent....hope you had great holidays....I'm finally over my cold and back with the living, trying to catch up on vids. Thanks so much for this one...Have a great new year and lots more wonderful finds like this in 2020 !
@@ww2wendal34 I was thinking, just the amount of time it took you to restore your finds alone adds up to a lot of hours. You did a beautiful job on them, really appreciate you sharing the final product. Cheers to you too, see you next time and thanks again!
Awesome finds guys and look fantastic cleaned up shows what can be found ...good work guys you can sell some of that and get Ian that Garrett 400i 😂👍😀👌
GREAT VID ! Hope to see many more. If you found all the parts to restore a complete WILLY'S, you could drive it to your exploration sites :-) Would be exciting if you found any bits from a BAC TSR-2 along the way.
Another great vid. Love the resto, it’s what I’m about, but mostly with wood. Although watching you get the rust off the quatrefoil was like pulling tooth 😂. Sandblast it?🤔
Hi guys I really like ur videos I'm learning a lot like ur up cycling good luck to all of u karen ps I'm dropping bit hints for my family to buy me some magnets for my 60th birthday
So i know you guys cant keep the guns or anything but is there anything else we have seen ya find you had to give back? The stuff you have looks great. And that usa od air pump would go great with my cousins willys jeeps the was his dads and he's restored. Theres a few years a big time labor of love. And its always been a working jeep. And up until he started the frame off rebuild it plowed snow every year. Now its just a ride in the country kind of jeep no more hard days for that one. Good show boys keep up with all the finds.

I wish I could get the metal detector you had but it is very expensive also Whats a good rust remover?
We should be debuting an alternative detector in the near future.

Any legible brand name on that watch calum was holding with christening band?
Yes check out the jewellery finds video.
Do you save all magnetic rocks incase they are meteorite?? What did you do with the one on the jewelry return vid that was found with the piece of bike chain?
it was nothing more than a piece of slag. A waste product from the smelting process.
Can we get a restoration video of Callum untangling your green rope? 😂
They'd be too much swearing - RUclips would take it down.
The 45 sign was the first video of yours I watched

you can put rusty cast iron into a fire and the rust will fall off very easily.
Not something we'll be trying thanks Dan.
