I wish I would've know you were going to be here my niece and I would have been right there....Thank you for representing San Antonio...Have a wonderful day!
This is one of the best parties for seniors skaters too,you can save a lot of money on gas all the excursions are close by. A 4-day rental car cost me $8. 70cents . Talkin about its savings!
hello Malik..I was great to finally meet you here in NYC. Skating has been so vital to me for so long I doubt I could have stayed grounded without it.I have some shots of you,yet I have not gone through my cameras yet, so I will keep your posted.
I love you bro, San Antonio, my jr. and high school years were spent on my first skating rinks as a teenager, until I returned to the city of my youth, the big apple. But my oh my, how my adopted city has matured socially, culturally and recreationally. Loving this video and thanking you for sharing this city of my skating youth. Making me feel really nostalgic now.
AND you so graciously took me down memory lane atop the Tower of the Americas where my HIgh School had their graduation party, remembering that Boz Scaggs hit LOWDOWN putting people on the dance floor up there during the Bicentennial Year. Thank you so much for taking me on this tour making me seriously joining you for the SA Roll during Cinco De Mayo next year. I marched many miles playing with my Brackenridge and Phyliss Wheatley High School bands, and later my R.O.T.C. Drill Teams all around that scenic Riverwalk area between Travis, Commerce and Houston streets. You just gave me a reason to go visit the land of my youth, all because of this video. May God continue to bless you and your crew with health, wisdom and insight as you take us on a cultural, social and historical tour of Skate Lyfe through the lens of black people culture as expressed and artistically characterized by you, the skate community and those you inspire with your videos spreading peace and love, unity and creative expression. The sister from Chicago in the video has motivated me to get my Newburgh New York skate community up and running, as I have been practicing as featured in my own video channel. Although I may not know anyone personally in San Antonio, I now know there is a Skate Lyfe community in the San Antonio Roll and I look forward to visiting you and them when you return a year from now. Be blessed and be safe.
