Matthew 24:15-31 - The Great Tribulation
"Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, whoever reads let him understand."
If we want to know what time it is we look at a clock 🕛, but if God wants to know what time it is He looks at Israel 🇮🇱
Jesus told us to know and understand the prophecy of Daniel 9. There were 490 years given to Israel until God would come and establish His Kingdom. From the command to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem [Nehemiah 2:1-8] until the coming of Messiah took 483 years. Then Daniel said the Christ would be killed [crucified]. At that point the clock broke. We have been waiting for almost 2000 years for the final seven years on the clock to expire, the END to come, and God rule on the earth.
Those seven years are what we call the Tribulation [Revelation 6-18]. We have already been given the six signs that tell us it is close, but Jesus went on to tell us what will happen during those final years. The antichrist will be revealed, build a third temple in Jerusalem, and demand to be worshiped as god [abomination of desolation]!
