Beginning in ProPresenter 4, Renewed Vision added a feature that's REALLY helped to format slides quickly. Until Pro7, it was called templates, but now it's called themes (templates are something else).
So, what are themes? How do they work? How can you make new ones? How can you use them?

Does updating a theme update the slides to which it has previously been applied?

Not unless it’s an alternate theme applied on the fly with looks. Themes are presets for how things in the slides layer look, so you can apply them and then do whatever you want. Changing the theme; changes the themes and only the theme. Slide you’ve applied it to in the past remain as they were the last time a theme was applied to them…until you change them, like by reapplying the theme, for example.

You can indeed undo a theme apply so not sure why you said you can't undo it :)

I'm sorry that I wasn't clear. I don't mean, "Oops, I just applied a theme 5 seconds ago and I need to undo that." You're right, that's a simple cmd-z (or ctrl-z). What I mean is, "Last week, I applied this theme and the worship leader asked me to change it this week after we've already shut down ProPresenter." That, you CAN'T do. You CAN apply a different theme to it, though.
