best cover of this song ive ever seen. quick question. was this song really in open b tuning or was it a guess that you had. either way sounds amazing.
I know the remix release states that this is the original speed, but I believe the is the half of the thruth. The bass and the drums definitely sound sped up, I reckon the guitars may have been layered at this speed, but not the rest of the instruments.
A year ago, Sam Hunter was the first guy to nail down this tuning. As it happens, it's not "odd " at all except that it's the only time the Beatles ever used it. It's based upon one of the three most common A Tunings : A-E-A-E-A-C♯ (one step down from "Open B") Note:"Rain" is in Open B (Capo 1)= Bb F Bb F Bb D. For Sam's original RUclips post, see: "The ACTUAL REAL CORRECT tuning of the Beatles’ “Rain” "

The bass is sped up, not the drums. The bass was overdubbed after the backing track was recorded.
funky tuning, i like it
Sounds exactly like the recording

Play this @ 0.75x for the real 1966 experience ☮️❤️🎸🔥
haha I tried it. It slapppss! the sustain
@@hershiekopperit really does and you nailed it! Pretty sure this is how they did it in A then slowed the tape down which lowered the key to G 😎
Our band in ‘69 played this song in key of G, but the A chord sounds more like the original
I olayed it 2x faster and it feels like a thrash metal song
alright now do macca's part
You sure know Maccas part is overdub and was done whem track was allready slowed.
@@_-_Michael_-_funnily enough, what he’s playing here is maccas part. He played guitar
Nice job man
Open E
Open A chord?
Looks to be. The finished cut is in G. Sounds that way...could be wrong.
Cool idea.
Absolutely awful
The drum part sounds insane at this speed
