Dirty Mind is my favorite Prince album and Uptown my is favorite song by Prince slightly over Controversy and I am two years younger than you but I got into Prince in 82 and Uptown appealed to me at the age of 10 because it was so raw especially for black radio, and I just dug that.I tell so many about the black radio Prince, because so many think that the 1999 album is where he started with Little Red Corvette and 1999 on Prince and even on the 1999 album he had songs that we only played on black radio like DMSR, Lady Cab Driver, Automatic International Lover and the "B" side Irresistible Bitch. Even after he hit big pop status with Purple Rain only black radio would play Erotic City. Also I think his best work with the Time is forgotten because Cool, Get it Up, 777-93-11 and the Walk were only played on black radio in 81 and 82 and that is some great Prince work so many are not aware of.

I really miss Prince. It is amazing how much he inspired me, I always thought he was Super Strong. I will always appreciate his legacy.
