I like that Protoss in general have strong Imperium of Man vibes (Protoss Empire). After I learnt about WH40K, Protoss gave me nurgle and tzeentch vibes. What is your favourite strategy and tactics for protoss?
For me, Protoss have strong Eldar vibes. Aiur Protoss are Craftworlds, Nerazim are a cross between Harlequins and Exodites, Tal'darim are Drukhari, Purifiers are Wraith constructs and Daelaam are Ynnari. That's why I liked Eldar in the first place because I played SC1 before I learned about 40k and fell in love with the atmosphere of a sophisticated and mystical alien race. Now I'm collecting Eldar miniatures and making my Ynnari something like Daelaam: an alliance of several factions united by a new hope and cooperating with humans against the common enemy.
But then, the UED would also be another equivalent to the Imperium of Man as well due to them have advanced 2 centuries ahead of the Terrans at least with a very similar backstory (distrust for cybernetic and psionic enhancements / AI taking over the entirety of their operations).
@@1erickf50 ues, the UED is more like the Imperium, same authoritarianism, human-centrism and xenophobia. The most prominent difference is that it banned all religions - much like the Imperium in 30k. It also seems to be less personalist because we know about the faceless UED Council but didn't hear mentions of some glorious leaders like the Emprah or Primarchs.
@@farseer2043 I agree with you about eldar. Even protoss faces and heads very similar to eldar helmets/masks. Wraith bone also has many similarities between khaydarin crystals. Why I saw similarities between tzeentch and nurgle? Because of Protoss psionics and "magic" combined with most if not all of them being "bright and smart" (however they are prone to somewhat far-fetched civil wars) (tzeentch) and their durability and cultural stagnation (nurgle). I know that chaos gods are something akin to nuclear waste, but they also embodying concepts that are not inherently evil like hope, love and will to preservation. I know that my comparison is also far-fetched. Thank you for your campaign! I hope your life is getting better and everything works out in the best way for you
