this build is slow and steady less fun but stable dmg. Storm is fast and it gives me the feeling of what enhance shaman should be like, but it has more rng to jt which might not be a go to spec on high keys.

Hey Stankie, love your guides. Althought please help me out. For some reason I’m unable to do ST damage. Any tips which talent build is most foolproof for tyrannical weeks?
TLDR Storm cleave is alot easier to get good DMG with on ST!

i personally play alot of Storm cleave, but swapping to this on higher fort keys if we need prio dmg/funnel
Both works great tho
I find it depending on tank and also set availability new set works better with elementalist lava lash spam but stormstrike build gets better when pulls are bigger which doesnt quite happen yet on fortifieds but for some players elementalist can feel very exhausting if you are like that then go for storm

@@obellicious6452 also good to note elementalist is less rng dependant so it might be better for those situations that require burst such as last boss in vp neltharions lair bosses and so on currently unreliable nature of windfury combined with new set synergizing better with elementalist seems to be weaker for m+ however windfury st build does way more dps than elementalist st build

With the new 4pc, is it recommended to go back to Elementilist? I noticed all of the top M+ shaman have, but im still pulling better numbers with the Storm Nova bhild on fort weeks and the Sform Cleave build on Tyrranical weeks.
Works well with both builds, technically elementalist is better for higher keys on fort since it's important to get prio mobs down, and elementalist is prob the best in the game atm at doing that type of funnel dmg so it's less about how much it blasts and more about what it blasts!
That being said i'm doing storm for most M+ and done it for 20+ keys!
DoomNova has been my favorite so far.

I am curious, I've been watching and rewatching some of your videos for the elementalist builds. I've gotten quite good with the storm build, but I wanna output more damage, and I also kind of want more of a challenge. But I saw in basically every build you take Lava Burst, but I've never seen you use it. Is it even worth taking? some people have said you use if you don't have 10 stacks of Maelstrom cause your gonna crit as long as your target has fire blast on them. I am confused as to what I should do with that skill point.

This build is so much fun and slaps so hard with the new tier bonus. As for the storm build, have you noticed the talent 'Legacy of the frost witch' bugging out? Sometimes when i spend 10 malestorm it doesnt actually reset my stormstrike. Also do you think there is a specific build that is better for tyranical week?

Fixed an issue where using Windstrike in Ascendance while talented into Legacy of the Frost Witch and Thorim’s Invocation was not properly resetting the cooldown of Windstrike when gaining the Legacy of the Frost Witch buff.
@@arilsonlops yea that was one of the major things keeping ascendance down in 10.0 and 10.0.5 as the lack of resets on wind strike.
This build isn't storm cleave, but it is brewing a storm
I just made the switch to this build after learning the storm build got the aoe down but can’t do dmg single target I don’t run elemental blast any thoughts on singe target?
It does take some practice to get down, i personally learned alot by using the addon hekili to help with the prio rotation and evenetually got the hang of it!
Elementalist playstyle is much exhausting! Palpatine is my choice. It is more versatile I guess - you are both good in aoe and single while elementalist is obviously only in aoe.
it's alot more bigbrain for sure, it's ST is decent but for sure not the same as the storm build!
I do prefer storm myself, but for really high fort keys elementalist is nice for the funnel dmg into big mobs.
I've been doing 20k more single target dps simply using lightning bolt thorims.

Are you using the Hekili add on that is showing above your weak aura package? If so how well does it work?

Im so confused with this build like when do i spend maelstorm and when do i press lava lash again when do i press primordal wave and when do i press LB instead of CL. And why do i have lava burst in the talent tree if im not gonna use it.
TLDR, always spend maelstrom if you're at 10x, if you're not at 10x MSW and you can lava lash then you lava lash.
PW should pretty much be used on CD unless a pack is about to die cause then u wanna save it for next pack.
Lava burst is used on ST as it hits harder then lightningbolt but has a CD, so if u need to spend MSW on ST use Lavaburst, if it's on CD use lightningbolt!
Cast CL on 2 or more targets.

hello sorry, it may make sense to start the rotation with flame shock on a target, change target, primal wave, lava lash? so I would have 6 mobs with flame shock up and I don't have to go looking for the one left without afterwards.
that makes perfect sense for the elementalist builds, this one doesn't really use that!

ridiculous amount of button bloat lol, its not complex just that typically odnt have that much hotkey set up for dps
First spec in a long time i played that I had to allocate utility hotkeys for dps

When you showed the single target rotation, since we're not taking Elemental Blast would we use Lava Burst there or just keep it off the bars and use Lightning Bolt in all circumstances?
For this we'd use lava burst since we aren't specced into static accumulation (the refund talent)
so sue lava burst and when it's on CD, lightningbolt
Recently just started playing this build and enhancement shammy, finding it really fun. AOE it slaps but my ST is really low. Does ST increase a lot with ilvl and new tier or am I just doing something really wrong? I am 410 ilvl and not great stats I think
Both storm and elementalist gains a ton of dmg from stats, we do love stats.
and our rotation gets alot smoother (and better) with more haste and mastery!

Not sure if Windfury is actually necessary since you can put flametongue on both weapons. Not sure if the +5% still counts on the double flametongue, the numbers don't change when buffing so it's hard to test.
2x FT does not work, neither for elemental assault nor for actually getting 2x FT!
@@StankieGaming Actually I did just test since i can see the damage numbers changing now, I am getting the bonus from 2 flametongues. Not sure if I'm generating less maelstrom or not, though, but each weapon hit does proc its own flametongue hit.
Why would you want to pass up windfury? You won't generate nearly as much Maelstrom without it.
Is doom nova still good?
fire nova has been huge ever since they changed it to flamestrike damage, but it still lacks in single target compared to frost shock
If you take elemental doggos, use Frost Shock. If you don't take elemental, or use alpha wolf, try fire nova.
This seems confusing
Could someone explain to me, why Lava Burst is taken? I get that it when people use it with Elemental Blast but beyond that, why? We don't need it in order to get Fire & Ice, so what is the point, slight extra damage over Lightning Bolt, I don't understand it.
For storm build you don't take it, if i remember correctly i had it talented in here as a mistake but you don't use it for storm builds!
@@StankieGaming I'm using the build that goes with Primordial, I don't think that is the Storm one, I just don't understand the point of Lava Burst, just seems...wasted?
If it's the elementalist build that uses Elemental blast then Lava burst gives it an additional charge
If it's elementalist but without elemental blast (aoe) then lavaburst is part of the rotation so you use it instead of Lightning bolt when you can, if it's on CD then you LB!
