Ol Doc...I remember him from the TV show "Challenge of Power" Friday afternoon's back in the early-mid 90's on ESPN. I think he also hosted some TNT Red Man All American Pulling Series events way back in the day. I met him in person back in 2000 at a monster truck rally in Owensboro Kentucky. Really nice guy.
@@overbore66 that's where! My mind was going blank and it was driving me NUTS, lol --- thanks for all the comments on here and yeah, he is a SUPER SUPER nice guy
Nice get with Doc doing interviews. Gives it that classic feel. We saw the Mudgician run in Indianapolis in 1992 with a fiberglass Corvette body. Really cool to see guys doing it at the top for that long. As always, another excellent video from BCP. Thanks for creating & sharing!
I thoroughly enjoy every video this channel shares with us. Monsters are cool as h*ll BUT these straight liners are where my true love lies. I had a '47 flat fender with a 289/3speed with OD I sometimes took to the dunes with paddles but it wasn't all that quick as a street ride. My need for speed was a pavement pounding super gas '63 ChevyII with a twin carb 468, PG I raced back in the 80's, knew a few gents who raced in the sand all over the PNW and I was enthralled with the INSTANT ACCELLRATION I saw when these cars launched. These awesome hotrods are a treat to witness. Thank you BCP!
Anyone remember a guy from..gosh early 90s maybe? Runni he one of these (when the indoor stuff was big) w/ a cigar in his mouth?? LoL, that was great, just piped into my head
the track doesnt really look like its mud.. it looks more like a watered down clay.... when i see mud drags im thinking 2 maybee 3 foot deep mud pits.... these guys really fly holly crap

You boys got to come to Ohio . 300ft track. Very fast competition.
The best was uncle John's mud bog in Chesterhill ohio. John passed away last month. Seen some of the best mud racers from all over this great nation.
Ohio 💀
i dont think the same driver should be able to use different vehicles. Its not just the vehicle thats makes a win.
You guys were at Hagerstown right? I'm waiting on watching it just to know if ya'll were there.
Working on those right now! Show one Should be up soon.
@@BackChannelStudios perfect!
Wait I thought Lake Erie would come first
Those are being edited as well. We are extremely busy with business and personal things this year so editing takes a while.
@@BackChannelStudios Take your time, was just thinking they'd be released in chronological order.
